Ridgid never fails!!
Ridgid is still the best on the market, IMO.. I've tried all the rest.. and as builder for 20 years, I can say Ridgid has always stood up to the test. Battery life,, torque,, chuck, and durability. I don't baby my tools, (but I do take care of them),, ..They are used hard,, in the heat,, and even rain. Recommend Ridgid drills and tools over everything else!.. Michael C.

The drill is not hard on battery use.
It is a great value. In the past, I had concerns about reconditioned power tools. Not any more. The Ridgid R86116 is a very good tool. The first thing I did with the unit was drill holes in concrete. No problems at all.

Extremely powerful and durable, I have been using this drill constantly for the last few months I have put it through a lot of many different rigorous testing i use Bosch Dewalt Milwaukee this one is just as powerful for a lower price point

As good as new!
Would not know that this was a re-built drill if it wasn't stamped on the body of the drill motor. This appeared and has functioned as a new drill.

Good buy
Works as advertised, arrived with what appeared to be wood chips stuck to it. If you already have a rigid set up it’s great. No battery or charger. Powers through concrete like butter. Like shopping for a new car, sometimes the best bargain for your money may be used or refurbished.
