Macally SLIMKEYPROA-UK 104 key British English Layout Ultra Slim and Full Size USB Keyboard for Mac

Having had all kinds of trouble with Bluetooth keyboards for a Mac mini, this is exactly the kind of solution I wanted. The keys are solid, durable, and comfortable. Keyboards are really just supposed to be functional (as in, you don't think about them because they just work) and this perfectly fits that bill for me.

This was a replacement for a very similar MAC keyboard which had stopped working (though it was 14 years old) it arrived well packaged with next day delivery - easy to plug in and go.

Does the job as you’d expect, bought because my wireless was playing up most the time.My only problem is the caps lock light sometimes doesn’t come on when you press, I unplug and replug the usb socket which solves the problem.

After about a year, some key presses are not recognized during normal typing. It seems to affect the number keys the worst. It's not my computer because other keyboards work fine.

In our office, we had a few mac keyboards that needed replacing from wear & tear. These are quarter of the price of the official mac ones and have the same in look and feel and seem to work exactly the same as the official ones.

On my iMac (late 2015) with the the latest patches to Mojave the caps-lock key is non-functional. It either does not switch or latches on until the cord is disconnected. On the same (dual boot) machine running openSUSE Linux the SLIMKEYPROA-UK behaves similarly to an Apple aluminium magic British English keyboard and caps-lock works. It also works well plugged into a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro laptop running openSUSE. I do not know if it would work with High Sierra.[Edit] After updating to MacOS 10.15 (Catalina) this keyboard is fully functional and I will amend my ratingThe Fn key lock is a really useful feature in Linu, where the Fn keys are used constantly to switch screens, etc.Although described as “ultraslim”, this keyboard does not lie flat like an Apple aluminium model. The rear is raised c. 5mm by a moulding (looks as if it would be the battery housing on a Bluetooth model). Also the fonts in the User Guide were too small for me to read. I would have appreciated a downloadable PDF or HTML version that the computer could read out. Other reviews mentioned a model with two additional USB ports. this would have been very useful as on the iMac all the inbuilt ports are behind the display and not easily accessible.Disappointing not to have had any response from support at Macally or Macally-Europe five days after sending an email to them.

...however, for some reason, Macally have decided to move the right Control key, shifting it to the left, and squeezing in an additional key in its place. I have no idea why they would do this, undoing years of muscle memory. And the most irritating about this is the additional keys sole purpose is to Save. It just sends Command-S, something I have been doing for years by hitting Command-S. It's the first shortcut you learn on a Mac, so why it now needs it's own key is beyond me.Other than that, key travel, feel and positioning is close enough to the original Apple keyboard that it makes a good replacement, if you are not a regular user of the right Control key.

Would recommend this to anybody. You get what you pay for with this item.

Die Tastatur ist wertig und funktioniert hervorragend auch an einem älteren Macbook Pro Modell. Seltsam ist allerdings die Preispolitik. Vor 10 Tagen war die Tastastur zum Preis von 29,95 erhältlich, nun wollte ich eine zweite nachbestellen und der Preis ist auf 39,95 erhöht worden.

He estado usando un teclado de apple original durante años, sin embargo se rompió un par de teclas durante una mudanza y he tenido que cambiarlo. Sinceramente el original me gusta per es demasiado caro para lo que es, así que decidí probar este, y debo decir que el resultado es muy satisfactorio.Es muy robusto, tiene un buen peso, quizá demasiado, los acabados son buenos. Las teclas son tiene buen tamaño, el recorrido y resistencia son buenas; son un poco más duras que el original, pero casi lo prefiero, puedes descansar los dedos en el teclado que no teclearás por accidente.Por ponerle un pero es que mientras presionas las teclas puedes sentir cierto movimiento lateral, pero no es nada molesto en mi opinión

El teclado no funciona correctamente. La caja superior / inferior está encendida y no se apaga o no se enciende. Vi con el fabricante que el problema es conocido. él me dijo que intercambiara el teclado, pero me gustaría que el intercambio se realice de la siguiente manera: reciba el nuevo teclado antes de devolver el que tengo, de lo contrario no puedo usar mi computadora. Le escribí al vendedor que me dijo que viera con Amazon y que no obtuve una respuesta. Es el gato que muerde la cola. Quiero una solucion rapida

Livraison rapide; Très confient dans la marque Macally (déjà plusieurs achats) . Beau clavier avec façade aluminium. Touches correctes pour la bureautique et la créa. Bon manque les shortcuts Mac... mais on peut s'en passer.Très bon rapport qualité prix.Je recommande
