Thrustmaster Ferrari Red Legend | Racing Game Wheel | PC/PS3

Using it for the past 5 days..all i can say is its absolutely phenomenal..for this price the experience it gives is simply mind blowing..Now for the pros and consPros:-1.build quality of steering is really good2.has rubber padding in the red area in steering which gives good grip3.attaches using a clamp(which is very easy to install)4.works nicely in most games5.the price6.and the brand(very good brand which is direct competitor of logitech in its flagship models)Cons:-1.The pedals are uncomfortably vertical if u use it right below the steering(i placed the pedals a bit further inside to make it a but comfortable)2.the steering rotates only about a little more than 90 degrees

Bought this wheel primarily for iRacing, and it works like a charm on my PC. I plugged it in, made sure the switch was on PC mode, and did not have to configure any software, it worked right out the box. The pedals are very light but work well, I will probably secure them to a piece of plywood (as other reviewers have suggested) so they don't slide around on my carpet. The wheel itself has a great feel in your hands, and the paddle-shifters have satisfyingly clicky but also somewhat loud tactile-feedback. It's also a very handsome peripheral, with Ferrari red handles and the Ferrari prancing horse emblem emblazoned in the center of the wheel. There are a lot of buttons that can be customized and re-mapped - they seem to correspond with the buttons on a PlayStation 3 controller but I use them in iRacing for menu control, replay control, and text chat. While the wheel only turns 90 degrees in any direction, it is comfortable and the sensitivity can be adjusted. The mounting bracket took me a moment to figure out, but it sits securely on my desk - and it's easy enough to detach in case you don't want to use it.All in all, the Red Legend Edition seems to be a great starter wheel for any aspiring sim racer. For me, the price was just right at ₹4000 - much more attractive than the ₹18000 pricetag of the Thrustmaster T150 Pro though this is clearly a cheaper wheel. If you have the money for a better wheel I would recommend doing that - but the Red Legend wheel is perfect in it's own regard - an entry-level, Ferrari-branded Thrustmaster racing wheel.

Got this wheel delivered in 24 hours to Chennai.It's a basic wheel and works as advertised. The wheel itself is plastic with two rubber grips on the sides for good grip. The wheel has 11 buttons and a D-pad. The pedals are good. Though the grip on my floor was bad had to keep a wooden block to prevent it from moving especially while applying the brakes. I bought this wheel for two games, Euro Truck Simulator 2. The wheel does the job perfectly, it took my experience from just a game (using 360 controller for windows) to a simulator (using this wheel). A must buy for ETS2 and ATS fans (though for FF and other features if you have the money go for the G29 or the G27)

The product finish and quality is good but the biggest problem is that it doesn't work. The product was delivered on 11th May and till today I am struggling and working with Thrustmaster support team. So far, no luck. Let's see if it works. First it was found that driver is not properly installed. Now, driver is installed properly but still Wheel is not detected by any car racing game. It has become a problem for me. It shows this product is non returnable so neither i can return nor it is working. I am using Lenovo laptop with Windows 10 OS. Before buying i had seen couple of youtube videos in which i saw that those guys just connected and it worked. So, i thought it's quite simple and it will be good for my son but it has become headache from day 1.

The wheel is good no issues with thatBut it's very outdated and very limited supported gamesYou can use xouput to emulate it and playBut it just emulated the wheel as a controllerBut what the point then , you should rather buy a controller for 1-1.5k and play with it thenSo don't buy unless you are going to use it for kidsKids will be very happyBut not for gamers .

Its a budget wheelThe built quality is very goodPaddles are also good and their sensitivity is also very good.Only issue is with the wheel- it offers no resistance when we want slight change of direction while driving.If you are seriously in racing don't go for it.

This product is amazing. I'm a casual racer and have always wanted to try one of these. I researched a lot before buying this and I'm very happy with it. The red grips are rubber and everything else is plastic, but fairly durable. Wide enough pedals and foot space don't let it slide. Clamping system is perfect on the steering. No matter how hard or sudden you move, its not gonna leave its place. Steering has some sort of bungy cord or elastic string attached to it that makes it return to its original position after turn.Overall, product is amazing. Go for it if you are looking for some casual but serious racing action.
