Great expansion for Macbook Pro
Bought for my son as an expansion for his macbook and his media course in college. Solid build quality and easy to install, just plug in the left side. Colour match is excellent, looking as if it is part of the macbook and instantly expands the ports, giving HDMI, USB 3.0 and C and SD card. This is a must have add on if you have a mac book, and gives you the flexibility that Apple seem to think you should pay more via their overpriced peripherals. Son is well impressed and has used the functionality of the ports several times to transfer media footage onto the macbook, while outputting a gorgeous 4K picture on his 55" tv :)

Good piece of kit...
We got his to go with our recently purchased MacBook Pro as we needed to connect other non USB-C devices. Everything we plugged in worked with no issues and you get the 2 USB-C ports back via the Adapter. We are driving a 31.5" monitor over HDMI at 2560x1440 screen resolution and the image is perfect. All in all, great value for money and a good number of additional ports to run all of your "old" kit on.

Does ALMOST exactly what I need it to.
Great product, looks good, fits well and feels well made. The only down side to me is that my Pen/Tablet doesn't work using this for some reason but will work with a single adapter. Other than that I can't do anything other than praise the adapter.

Very good, but only one Thunderbolt port
Product feels well built and solid. All works as expected, just a bit disappointing that it only has one thunderbolt Port and has one standard USB C port. Not a huge issue for me as I have 2 other thunderbolt ports and not that many devices that can benefit from it, but worth noting for people using a lot of devices.

Doesn't work with WiFi
As much as this provides USB, VGA and HDMI ports, it works. However it is let down by the fact that you cannot leave it connected to the Mac or WiFi stops working. I could not believe all the woes I had with WifI came down to leaving the device unplugged.

Seems to function well
The unit can sit on either side plugging into two of the USB C sockets. If you have it on the right on a MacBook Pro it covers the Jack Socket. The unit is a little thicker than the MacBook Pro (it has the HDMI at the top). Charging has to be done using the USBC nearest the screen which then leaves you with one USBC and two USB A sockets. In the 3 or 4 weeks I have had it there have been no connection problems.

Nice, but good luck unplugging your USB devices
Looks cool, and lightweight. Fast connections - but not very sturdy at all. A slight movement can disconnect your hard rive or flash drive - whatever you have plugged in - so it doesn't make moving your MacBook around with any connections that easy. When you go to unplug something, it will just pull out the whole hub, so you have to make sure that you Eject anything plugged in which can be annoying. I also have a skin case around my Mac and had to saw a hole for it to attach properly. Overall cool idea and looks really sleek and nice, but I'd deffo buy a model that doesn't attach to the side of the Mac again and use a wired hub.

Short life span, broken mac
Good device when it worked. After a while the USB-C ports stopped working. And when an Hdmi was plugged in, for some reason every other port stopped working too. The worse part is, one of my USB-c ports also burnt out whilst using it and now doesn't work.
