Good, stylish boots
have worn these (mostly only during colder weather) for about 3 years now. They break in pretty fast, and have loosened up a bit, but run relatively small. As in, i cannot really wear thick wool socks with them. I do wish they had a more durable sole, however, as I've nearly worn through it in a few places. Overall, they're nice and look great. Slightly below the quality and durability i'd expect at over 100$ though.

Different, great boot!
I'll start be saying i don't normally leave reviews, but this great shoe only had one on amazon so i thought i'd add to it as it would've been helpful for my decision.I had been looking for a boot for a long time. Being a small men with a 5.5 (UK) foot size its difficult. A lot of the boots are all so samey (biker type with a heel), so when i first saw these last winter i was annoyed they had sold out on amazon of most sizes. Being as i have Swedish friends back in the UK and my brother is in Stockholm i have known of Tretorn for a while, and ive never had any issues with their shoes before. I initially ordered from Tretorn in the US, but the parcel never arrived, so after a refund i went straight onto amazon.com and saw my size in these for $60 less then tretorn!, so i jumped at it!I received them last week, ans ive had a quick try on. Fitting wise i would say Tretorn are almost (if not very close) to being true to size. 5.5 (uk) 6.5 (US mens) and 8 US women's, are a tad tight, but it could just be me being used to a pair of slightly bigger size 6 trainers ive been wearing for the last few weeks. Not tight enough to be a problem i don't think. They do look great, totally different to anything else out there, the picture is true to the actual look. So far i have worn them with the laces 1/2 done up/open look, and im sure the jeans over the boot look will be just as cool! I sprayed them with leather protector as soon as i got them and you get 2 pairs of laces, the red in the picture and a pair of straight black (i kept the red ones in!) Im loving the utilitarian and hunter type look, with the nice thick rubber lower part to the boot, there're also not heavy either. Some of Tretorn build quality is questioned, but as i mentioned i've had a few trainers of theirs over the years with no issues. Time will tell with the Klipporone boot.Really nice boots, i can't for the winter to arrive in Sydney now!

Good but not great
I wanted a boot that could repel water and keep my feet warm but I love wearing my Converse. So, it seemed that this boot was the best of both worlds. The sizing was correct and they did keep me dry and mostly warm although the boot is a little thin so when it is really cold or walking on cold streets my feet were cold. The main reason that these boots get only 2 stars is because is that after 3 weeks of wearing them, the right boot has developed a tear where the leather under the laces attaches to the suede. It started as a small tear but has grown down the whole side under the laces. Other than the construction they were good with the rain but were a little slippery also on wet streets because of the rubber sole. I mainly thought that they would last a lot longer then 3 weeks.

These boot are awesome!
The leather slightly flakes on the foot before the rubber. Other wise I love them!! Not a bad buy and they look great!

Great Winter Boot
These are a great pair of winter boots. They are very comfortable and they are a little bit lighter weight than my other winter boots. They are exactly what I was looking for.

cool looking but small/narrow
Ordered size 7.5 and had to send them back because they have a very narrow fit. Darnit - they look cool though and they provide extra plain black laces (with the black pair).

Awesome!
The title speaks for itself, they are awesome. The pull tab snapped off though in the first week; however, these are my kind of boots.

Nice...
These boots are everything I expected. They're comfortable, good looking and I don't seem to have to break them in for a long time like most boots...
