Each book concentrates on a sound.Book 1:ay,book 2:ee,book 3:igh,book 4: ow,book 5:oo,book 6: oo,book 7:ar,book8:or oor ore,book 9:air,book 10:ir,book 11:ou,book 12: oy oi.Each book has 10 pages, which is thinner than most books at this level. There are on average 2 sentences per page.My son (and myself) did not enjoy those as much as Biff, Chip and Kipper’s stories, and they are not really good value for money, but those stories are really good to practise the speed sounds set 2. I bought several sets of books in this collection, and set 4 is definitely the one that I would recommend if you are buying only one set. Songbirds phonics are also very good books to practice phonics (the drake and the snake, etc....).

Great books to tie in with school learning but they are very expensive for what they are, however this is the going rate for these books.

The books are good as it's been used at many schools. But it maybe not worth to spend as each book has only a few pages so it took 2 minutes to read each and children will never want to go back to read again...

I bought them due to lockdown, to ensure my daughter was not falling behind, however i find them way too expensive. In any other siruaation i wld not have bought them.
