clover Soft Touch Crochet Hook: 2.50mm, 2.5mm, Brown

This hook is lovely and the hook shaft looks and feels just like the hooks from their Amour Hooks. The handle is a little shorter than those same hooks also wider. So it's all down to what you prefer. I have very small hands so it was comfortable to hold, but if you have bigger hands than me, i can see you may require a bigger handle than this hook has. It has almost a brushed metal, very smooth shaft and smoothly glides with yarn. Love the Clover hooks. Always pleasant to Crochet with and makes any project a breeze.

Great quality as described

I recently switched to Clover crochet hooks after experiencing pain around the pinky-side knuckle of my hand, and the difference has been remarkable. I had previously been using ergonomic hooks with thicker, longer handles, but as someone with smaller hands, I found that design actually made things worse. The length and bulk of the handle forced me to stabilise the hook using my pinky finger, which led to noticeable pain and strain after crocheting. With the Clover hooks, everything changed. The handle is shorter and flatter, which naturally fits my hand much better. I no longer feel the need to grip tightly or support the hook with my pinky. If you’ve been experiencing hand fatigue or pain—especially around the outer edge of your hand or pinky—it may be worth looking at the shape and size of your hooks. For me, Clover hooks have made crocheting comfortable again. Highly recommended, particularly for those with smaller hands or anyone struggling with hand strain.

I love these crochet hooks. They really suit my hands - comfortable, the right length and orientation of grip, the perfect working length, durable (unlike look-alikes where the metal bit just breaks out after a while), and the mustard colour grip is easy to detect in poor light without being garish. My go-to for all my crochet work the last few years.

I have many different hooks from various brands. I bought this clover hook to see what the fuss was all about, I bought the same in different sizes, and now it is all I use for my crochet projects.

I’ve used several different brands but this one is by far the best for me. Just be sure it is the brand Clover. Some duplicates are out there that look identical but aren’t clover. There is a slight difference between them. I find Clover ones glide better with the yarn.
