Deluxe Glass Buffet Warming Tray Full size 24" x 20 " by Classic Kitchen

Has a variable warming control. The entire black tempered glass surface gets uniformly warm or hot. The surface is huge, 20 x 24 inches so lots of room if you are entertaining. There is a red LED pilot light that always stays on when the unit is plugged in. One very minor complaint is that the pilot light is in the back whereas the on-on switch and variable heating control is on the back. I I tried several other trays but either they did not have a variable warming control (a must have) or they were too small or they were long and thin, whereas this really has the perfect shape, a big rectangle that is almost a square i.e. 20 x24. Reminder. The surface is glass. If you drop it, it will break. If you do not drop it, you will definitely love this warming tray.

This is a nice plata- bigger than most- controls are on the back (where the cord comes out), where you won't brush them by accident- textured, non-slippery, glass surface- comes with cloth bag for mid-week storageThe temp dial is variable, but has LOW, MED, HIGH marks for reference. I used my infrared thermometer and this is what I got:LOW = 38C, 100F (this is probably useless)MED = 69C, 155FHIGH = 105C, 222F (this is just above boiling)Your exact temps may vary a bit. I find this to be a useful range, especially MED to HIGH.

I purchased this tray for corporate events since its looks more professional than typical warmers with less setup. I have used it twice since purchasing, in which it did great, but now it doesn't work anymore. I am pissed because as I discovered this while setting up a meeting that included our CEO.

Performs quite well. After initial uses, appears easy to keep clean. On \ off switch at rear is rather awkward.

Looks wonderful. Seems very well made. Wonderful options for heat and temperature. HAVE NOT USED IT YET. But be careful to know exactly where you will use it. Our small kitchen island can sit 2 or 3 people and I was planning to use that surface as a serving station. But the tray is just a few inches too large! So I will have to use it on our kitchen counter - which is fine, just not what I had planned. I have searched the internet for warming trays for quite awhile and this is the only one I found that seems to be of good quality with a wonderfully large heating area. I can't wait to use it. I am thinking of sending one to my sister as a gift!

Worked well for 6 months, then stopped and barely heats at all anymore.

This is made with Sabbath observers in mind, which is why the control is on the back. I found that it warmed my food sufficiently, although it is slow. I think that it is important to have flat containers that sit directly on the glass surface. My older pans that have bumpy bottoms didn't heat as well as the new pans. I kept it on for two days with no ill effects. I found that the heat control does work, and on medium it got pretty hot. I never noticed any oder when using the tray.

Used this for my daughters shower. Kept all the food warm for hours. It is NOT for heating food, your food must be pre-cooked and heated-and it will do it's job - keep your food warm throughout your event. It's huge - I fit a ton on it. A definite keeper for those who entertain!
