Turns out it's not me or use error, it's the product. There is NO WAY to connect this microphone to my Dell laptop. The receiver kills the screen if plugged in directly. None of the receivers are recognized by my laptop when plugged in using either the C cord, USB, or audio jack. This may be my laptop, but it only gives me the option to connect an external device via Bluetooth- which this product doesn't have? So strange. It works with my phone relatively painlessly, so I'm gonna try that in the meantime until I find a suitable product. My Dell laptop is a new 2025-2026 model, so idk what the deal is.

I received the item and was not able to pair the receiver and transmitter after multiple attempts. I contacted Amazon to try to troubleshoot, and their solution was a refund.

Having tested Boya products before, I have developed high expectations for their products - and this wireless lavalier microphone system does NOT disappoint! Honestly, I don't know where to start - this is more than just a set of wireless lavalier mics. Both mics are extremely tiny (the tiniest I've seen offered from BOYA), making them relatively unobtrusive. However, you can leave both mics in the wand-style charging case, attach it to desktop stand, slip on the windscreen or pop filter, and voila! - you have a desktop mic (note: only one of the lavalier mics will operate in this configuration). There is a BOYA desktop stand that can be purchased separately, but honestly - it will work with any stand with a standard threaded screw mount. As is the standard with BOYA, they give you a ton of accessories: two windscreens for the mini-lavaliers, USB-C, lightning, and 3.5mm adapters, a cold-shoe attachment for mounting to a DSLR or other camera, a pop-filter and windscreen for charging port/mic wand, two mini-receivers (USB-C and lightning, and they can charge your phone while plugged in!), and an awesome faux leather (vinyl maybe?) compartmentalized carrying case for all of it! Though I haven't stress-tested this yet, this set of mics boasts 6 hours per mini-lavalier, and 30 hours if you use it in the charging case/wand. This mic is easily recognized in apps such Audacity, Adobe Audition, and other software. As with other offerings from BOYA, there is a significant noise reduction feature that works best in medium noise environments. This set also boasts a limiter (great for peaks produced by plosives and sibilants) as well as something called a "safety track" (honestly, I have to do more research on this to see what this is all about). If you need quality on par with the leading brands without the leading brand prices, these BOYA brand mics are an amazing deal!

Ich nutze das BOYA Magic Mini ausschließlich für Interviews und dafür ist es wirklich sehr gut geeignet. Die Einrichtung geht schnell, Sender anklipsen, Empfänger anschließen und es läuft. Die Sprachqualität ist klar und natürlich. Stimmen werden sauber übertragen und sind gut verständlich, auch wenn im Hintergrund etwas Umgebung vorhanden ist. Gerade bei Zwei-Personen-Interviews ist das Set mit zwei Sendern sehr praktisch. Akkulaufzeit ist mehr als ausreichend für längere Gesprächsrunden. Für meinen Einsatzbereich eine zuverlässige und unkomplizierte Lösung. Klare Empfehlung für Interview-Settings.

Me gusta que tenga estuche de carga puesto que así los micrófonos siempre están cargados y no hay que estar tan pendiente de si están o no cargados. Otros extras son que se puede usar el estuche de carga como si de un micrófono fuera muy cómodo para hacer alguna que otra entrevista o si usas un trípode con la rosca universal que tiene el estuche por abajo poder dejarlo posado en una mesa mientras hablas. En cuanto al sonido grabado se nota muy nítido y no hace falta estar hablando directamente al micrófono solo hay que sujetarlo en la camiseta y olvidarte de él ya que hace bien su función. La cancelación de ruido se nota y bastante quitando todo el ruido de alrededor y grabando únicamente la voz . Hay disponible una aplicación para controlar varias funciones de los micrófonos y para actualizar su firmware. Conclusión: Unos micrófonos con batería duradera, además del extra de que la caja para guardarlos también los carga, que sale nítida la voz al grabar y que tienen una cancelación de ruido que funciona muy bien.
