Huge, Complex City
Others have commented upon the incompleteness of this map for Buenos Aires, but this sprawling, ever-growing city of (currently) 2.9 million likely details a map detailed enough to include it all. Major areas frequented by travelers (San Telmo, La Boca, Recoleta, Palermo) are included with (almost) enough detail to be useful. Returned to Buenos Aires anew, I would search for more detailed neighborhood-specific maps, but for the first time visitor, I suspect one could do no better than this offering.

... came in advance of my trip and I really enjoyed studying it with morning coffee
This came in advance of my trip and I really enjoyed studying it with morning coffee. I much prefer a physical map for this purpose over anything electronic. While on the trip itself, the map proved useful again as my group of friends looked over it to plan our outings. I somehow lost it during the vacation and will possibly purchase another just to file away for remembering and sharing with other who may venture to BA.

Best map of Buenos Aires
I have about ten maps of Buenos Aires, some bought in Buenos Aires and some bought in the US. This is by far the best one. It has everything: subway stops, subway map, all streets very clearly written, colors that are easy to the eye, street list, etc. It would have been better if "Jorge Luis Borges" street weren't written as "José Luis Borges" on the map, and although I get aggravated every time I see it (because I love Borges and I think such errors are ridiculous and unacceptable), it's still a better map than any other I've seen.

Easy to read, yet very detailed.
I used this map during a 2-week vacation in August '16.I'd consult the map and write down my walking route, then clutch the paper (only) in my hand out on the streets. The method worked, so I will be using.the Borch map of Berlin in that city this month.

good for planning
the wipe off feature makes this map good for planning and keeping track of where you've been. I preferred to carry a paper map with me while I was walking around town so I could conceal it better, but this large map was good for going over in the hotel rooms.
