Summer Footwear
I wear an 8.5D in sneakers, 8 in hiking shoes. Ordered the 8D and it was just a little too large due to left foot being a little smaller than the right. I downsized to a 7D and they both fit perfectly.I watched the videos on the Chaco website about adjusting for a proper fit (there are videos on YouTube as well). Make sure you loosen the straps before getting working to get the proper fit. Pull them all the way loose (you cannot adjust the heal strap as they are stitched in place), and then adjust them in until you are able to get a finger beneath each strap. To Remove: Then just pull the buckle to loosen them, pull down the heel strap and they come right off. (You can also just pull the heel strap down and pull off) To Put On: Slip your foot into the sandal, pull up the heel strap and pull the buckle to tighten. (You can also just insert foot into sandal and pull up the heel strap)The sandals have been comfortable around the house for the past 4 days, now off to the office for a "real world" evaluation.Updated: August 3rd, 2014Have worn these at work since the 21st of July (using a stand up desk and walking around the campus). Very comfortable. Hard to wear real shoes after this :)

Best sandals I've ever had
The sole is very comfortable in shape and texture. The strap is smooth and doesn't rub or hurt at all. The toe strap keeps them from catching on uneven ground and bending in half. The heel strap keeps the sandal as loose or tight against your foot as you like because it's easy to adjust. It doesn't slap against your heel like an annoying flip flop sandal. The minimal material design keeps your feet cool as there's barely anything there, but the materials are very high quality and seem like they will last a good while. They slip on and off very quickly and easily. Didn't need any breaking in. I took them to the beach and they didn't even need to be shaken out from the sand. I wear them all over town and they feel great even after several hours of straight wear. I wore them to the airport and was one of the fastest people to take off my shoes in security. I was hesitant to pay so much for a pair of sandals at first, but after buying these I am a customer for life. This are not just the the best sandals I've ever had, they are the best footwear I've ever had!

Do it!!
I cannot say enough about these... They've travelled the world with me and are my go-to shoes year round! When my first pair began to smell from their time in the ocean, I purchased another pair and may get another few pairs soon to make sure I always have a pair.

Wow Wow Wow
I'm going to continue to order these chacos time after time. I don't like the Z series, the bulky looking ones. However I stumbled on these and couldn't be happier. Fit perfectly, hold up beautifully. I went camping for a week and only brought these as footwear. Hiking, fishing, tubing, playing in the river, they still look almost new. I've worn them almost every day for a month, I might be obsessed.

Super comfy and a solid choice.
Chacos have always lived up to their reputation for me, this pair is no exception. After screwing with the straps for a little bit (they were pretty hard to adjust at first, it feels like you're about to rip the strap right out), but once you get them loose they're very easy to fit. As with any shoe/sandal they were a little clunky to get into, but after breaking them in for a couple days I never want to take them off. Very nice for just walking around and biking and even feel pretty nice when running around on the grass or pavement. Really nice support too, much better than most other flatter sandals I've worn in the past. Overall they've held up really well so far and am excited to use them all summer.

Lovely!!
I was skeptical at first because I have never owned a pair of Chaco's, but when they arrived I put them on and they are so comfortable!!! They fit exactly as they should, the toe loop takes a little getting used to, but that is to be expected. I've worn these bad boys to the lake, canoeing, hiking, camping, and also just out to town, and people comment on them all the time! They are unique! Super happy I bought some Chaco's :)

My Favorite Chacos
My favorite Chacos. I also have the Z/2 Unaweep, but I found those to be a little clunky and the heel uncomfortable as it is slightly elevated from both sides cupping the heel too much. The Chaco Rex is lightweight, flexibile, more naturally contoured, and waaay more comfortable than my other sandals. My other Chaco wearing friends are planning on getting these when their sandals wear out.The sizing is similar to my Z/2's. I wear a 8.5 street shoe, and the size 7 fits me well.

Good product, sandals fit as expected and stay with ...
Good product, sandals fit as expected and stay with you all day.Only FYI, when wearing them, make sure you adjust the straps properly. A little loose, with good support will leave you comfortable all day.
