One could not ask for a better Deet bug spray.

I water it down to 20% so I get great bang for the buck while keeping a 100% bottle in reserve in case I hit a swarm

Living in Florida, where Off only attracts bugs more, this stuff was a game changer. No gnats, noseeums, or mosquitos bother me with this stuff on. Unfortunately, I couldn’t give it 5 stars because of the texture of this spray being so oily and having to rub it on to not look like I’m buttered up. But more inconvenient is that it completely wrecks my nail polish. It doesn’t remove nail polish, but basically uncures or undries it and turns it into a mushy mess. I’ve given up nail polish for this stuff though because nothing else works.

First off, I live in Belize, on Ambergris Caye. In fact, I live in the Mosquito Coast neighborhood of the town of San Pedro. Add to that the fact I have a terrible, long-lasting reaction (up to three weeks) to mosquito, sand flea, and fire ant bites and I can tell you I know what works. Not only does it work, but it lasts on me up to 12 hours. I never actually spray it on myself, rather, I spray it onto one hand, lightly rub both hands together, and lightly coat myself exposed skin and my clothing with it. In fact, I never even mess with the bugs now. If I go out at all, even for a quick moment, I apply it. That way even if I run into a neighbor and am outside longer than planned I have no bites.

The product is excellent and it’s effective. I put it on every time I go out during summer, no mosquitoes bite.But one thing need to be very careful…after you spray it on your feet, wait for a while. If not, there will be spots or stains of the spray will stick onto your pant or skirt or dress.

I visit Guatemala two to three times a year. I was always breakfast, lunch and dinner to the millions of mosquitoes there. I was always concerned due to the sever reactions I would exhibit, not to mention the countless hours of painful itching, and the possibility of (West Nile Virus, Dengue Fever and Malaria). Only one in ten people are highly attractive to mosquitoes. About a year ago I began using Repel 100. I have only been bitten a small fraction of the many times from before. I can't say one good thing about the smell of this product, but if you are like me and have every possible thing in your blood that mosquitoes like, you just won't care. Since I visit mosquito country so often, I decided to order a 6 pack so I won't have to worry about running out any time soon. Scientists state that genetics account for 85% of our susceptibility to mosquito bites. They are quite partial to type "O" blood along with other things. Good luck
