Not the Jockey Underwear you Knew
Jockey was my go to underwear, but their design has changed and not for the better. The waist band use to be wider and didn't roll now it just bunches up at the waistline. The leg length use to be longer and fit tighter on the leg, now it just hangs like a boxer short. The fabric feels cheap and thin and not as comfortable as it was in the past. Jockey needs to do quality control and go back to the design they had just a couple of years back, or fire their current contractor.

Jockey not number 1 anymore
I love the Jockey pouch boxer briefs. They are the most comfortable underwear I have ever worn. The past couple of years I have notice that the quality of the waist band and stitching have gone down. The waist bands roll up after the first wash and feels uncomfortable when this happens also the seam come apart easily over time. This doesn't happen to all the underwear but a few would be affected. This is the reason I took a star away. Jockey may want to change their quality control or material before they start loosing customers like myself who are diehard Jockey wearers. I still wear them because I still can't find a more comfortable fitting underwear.

Mis-marked sizing?
I've worn this brand of boxer briefs for a long time, say 12-15 years. Recent manufacturing changes have reduced the sizes somewhat on both the cotton (this purchase) and microfiber versions.Seems like this style of boxer brief is no longer available at walk in retail stores. Both cotton and microfiber versions purchased online have been more snug than the same items purchased at a brick and mortar. The Old Guy

What is special about the grey version of this underwear?
These Jockey Pouch shorts have gotten a lot of critical reviews lately, apparently as a result of Jockey changing manufacturers. I, too, joined that critical assessment. The light blue and dark blue versions seemed particularly likely to roll at the waistband and leg seams. And it is only Jockey that makes this kind of a pouch version that is affordable and doesn’t look like an ad for soft porno. As illogical as it appears, however, the grey version that I had mixed in with the colors seemed less susceptible to these deficiencies. Sooo, I ordered a half dozen of the grey product, to test what struck me as an absurd hypothesis. I haven’t had them long enough over the course of several launderings, but so far, as bizarre as it sounds, they seem to be holding up better than the colored versions. Go figure...

Almost make me want the red-label ones
The last Jockey boxer briefs I bought had a red label knitted into the waistband. I thought that was the only difference. But these ones have a noticeable seam that runs down the middle of each cheek. Poor idea for comfort, although eventually you stop noticing. Also the waistband is stiff attached elastic, instead of woven-in stretch. These are also cut a little tighter, which is probably better, because after a few washings the red-label ones look ridiculous on a guy, because they hang real loose like those khaki skirt-shorts lady golfers with cropped hair used to wear. Loose also means they bunch up like old-fashioned boxers when you put your pants on.In both red and white labels, Jockey cuts closer to boxer trunks style than the long-line panty girdle length that Calvins do.I really wish I could find Hugo Boss trunk briefs again. But the white-label Jockey boxer brief is a cheap good-enough stand-in.

Nothing fits the "not small" man like these do
I get why these aren't universally popular. They're pricey, and if you want them to last, you basically have to wash them like women's underwear (don't use a dryer).Cotton where it matters, stretch blend where support is needed - and for reasons that I won't go into here, if your a bigger than average guy in the groin-ular region, these return you to a time where you can use your fly again, which if you wear a work-belt for a living, means quicker, easier bathroom trips.I haven't seen these in stores for years, but have had not trouble getting them on Amazon.

comfortable and breathable enough for him
My sons wears these and are the only ones that feel soft, comfortable and breathable enough for him. He is sensitive to fabrics. Although they do get holes in the over time in the inner thigh area so we find we have to replace them every year. Wish they coukd keep the same fit and feel (soft and flexible- not tight or spandexy!) but make them sturdier and less prone to getting holes in the inner thighs!
