Other than the power button. Nothing else works

Not user friendly
The remote works well with the Apple TV but the power button is also compatible with the TV. So it cannot be used exclusively for switching on/off the Apple TV unit; it switches off the TV also which is just not user friendly.

Great price and does the job! It feels a bit too light, but good grip for bigger hands. No complaints! Value for money and really nice to use.

Great replacement for Gen3 Apple TV remote A2854
Had to replace my Gen3 Apple TV remote (A2854) and this worked with no setup, just 2 batteries. Works way better than the original Apple remote, which is unusual. Old remote used to hop 2 steps ahead when navigating, and had to charge it every few months on a cable. This one takes 2 AA batteries and I prefer that. Also, buttons are a lot easier and smoother to use than original remote. Also its lighter (plastic) which I prefer. A+++

Works correctly out of the box
Functions perfectly out of the box. Button layout is a little cumbersome initially but becomes familiar after a bit of use. Doesnโt get lost in the couch as much as Apple Remote does.
