I made two accent fluted columns for my porch remodeling, jig worked great and very time saving.

Nice tools and jigs to have on hand for butterfly cutting. Happy with the quality.

These worked ok for inlays I made on a live edge table. Two issue I have with these how we are their:1) there should be more plastic on the outside of the butterfly for holding it down. I ended up using hot glue to hold it to the work surfaces. I was hogging out a Ref oak love edge table and making inlays out of walnut. When I followed the pattern all was ok.2) these scratched up a bit after multiple uses. I suppose at some point I may need to clean those up a bit it the router might get caught on a scratch or at least slow down or make me jerk out of line. Not good when making the inlay as you have to only route out along the edge.

This helped me to complete a fireplace mantel for Santa's House at Christmas in the Park in downtown San Jose CA. I had to flute the sides. Easy to adjust and use.

Product is easy to use if you follow instructions.

When used properly these templets make perfect fitting bowties for wood that has split.

Overall this Butterfly Key Inlay Template Set is sturdy and well designed, with one major flaw - them templates are too small in width and length. There is marginally enough room between some of the butterfly patterns and the edge of the template. This makes taping the templates to your workpiece suspect in that it is questionable whether you have enough area to tape the template to the workpiece to ensure that the template will not move while you are routing. Secondly, the relative smallness or narrowness of the templates makes it more difficult to keep your flat on the template while routing along the patterns. Extra care must be take to not let the router tip off the edge of the template. If the templates were a minimum of 2 inches wide around the edges of the patterns then it would be much easier to use and would solve both of these problems.
