You can adjust it around the waist with a cord to give a cute shape to the coat. It’s fitted at the wrists. It has taped seams to keep water out. The two deep pockets are zippered. The hood isn’t too large, but easily covers your head. And it’s easy to pack into the included bag. I love it. It’ll be coming with me to London in a month. It folded up so nicely and easily fit back perfectly. And boy, did it keep me dry. I had a couple of ferry rides and stayed outside in the wind and rain just because I wanted to see the ocean. I pulled the hood up around my face and it kept me incredibly well insulated. I use a walker and it is impossible to handle it and an umbrella. Not to worry as I did not need one. And it really is fashionable. I got the pink one (is there another color?). It’s so nice looking, sturdy and looks more expensive than it is. And yet it is incredibly light weight to carry around in a tote. A terrific find! Am going to keep it in my car—ready for anything!
