Dry PAK 5 x 8 Standup Paddleboard Equipment, Hot Pink

-1 Star if I could do that. This product smelled so bad when I opened the package! It was horrible. There was another item in the package, but it had only absorbed a little bit of the smell. I unwrapped it, unpacked it and tried washing it with soap (it's a water-proof bag, after all) and it still smells like an early 1970's head shop. Totally ridiculous! Why would I ever want something that smelled like this? Not even worth the return postage, which is what I think they rely on, I'm sure. I wonder how long I'll have to air this outside to even be able to use it? Maybe never.

I have used a number of Dry Paks in the past, and they worked fine. These, however, do not close properly. As others have also noted, it is difficult if not impossible to get the levers to close all the way, and if you manage to do so, you will likely not be able to open then without using a tool or destroying your fingers. Photo shows both the one I received from Amazon (top), with the levers as far down as I could get them.; the lower one in the photo was sent to me as a replacement by Dry Pak. On the replacement, the lever on the left worked fine, but the lever on the right would not close fully, as in the top one. I fixed the probnlem by removing some of the yellow plastic where the back of the lever rotates (2nd photo). If you don't mind spending 1/2 hour with a rotary tool fixing a brand new product, then you might like this Dry Pak. Otherwise, until they get their plastic molding tolerances corrected, I suggest you go with something else. NOTE: I only purchased the 5x8, so perhaps the problem only affects this model.

Product works Ok u can hear ur music through it well and record ok but once the water touches the screen 90% of the time it will stop video or snap pictures. I also noticed some humid spots inside the case which made my phone freeze up for a bit (iPhone X) with that being said and after 4 hours of testing I will be returning the product as it doesn’t work for me .

The very best waterproof case I've ever purchased and I've had about 5-6 over the years. I'm around water for several hours daily. I wear a waterproof case so I can listen to podcasts. The case has clear sides so it allows you to easily see the volume up/down buttons. I have a CaliCase that doesn't have clear sides, so finding the buttons are impossible. I'm always hitting the wrong button.The Dry Pack is soft so it doesn't scrap my skin like many other waterproof cases. I tested it for no leaks underwater, but I never swim or dive with my phone, so can't review that function.AND the clear part on the back is at the bottom of case. You can use the camera while it's in the case.I can't say enough good things about this case. Fits a Pixel 2 XL with a Ringke Clear Case on it.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Unusable. The top seal is great and flotation mechanism is awesome, but when there’s a huge, gaping hole in the actual bag, how can it protect my phone? I was packing this up to use it this weekend and just noticed this, and now it’s too late to return it.

Have only use this four times and the entire bottom seam opened up. Luckily the phone did not land in the water or I would be even more upset. I have had several other dry pak items that have been great but this obviously was made of thinner and inferior material. Will never buy another thing from them again. If I could give zero stars I would. Unfortunately I can’t return it because the return window closed three days ago .

Well made, but be aware that the 6” model will not easily fit an iPhone 7 if you wanna leave the case on it. I had to take the case off to get it to fit properly. Recommend ordering a slightly larger size case than whatever size your phone is.
