Have tried several bottles and not 1 has come out straight. Very difficult to use.

It could be more stable as blade does move a bit

This didn't work on any size bottle or glass thickness i had. I'd been saving my nice bottles and really looking forward to using this product. I saved practice bottles i didn't mind learning on and assumed there would be some that didn't work. But of the four bottles i tried before giving up, two larger round ones (simple 1l bottles) wouldn't crack at all and two 75cl ones with thicker glass did break but with crack lines down below the shatter line rendering them useless and dangerous. I watched their video carefully about six times over and read all the literature, scoring the glass steadily. The literature suggests a light score works best but i did try both a lighter and harder score on each of the 1l and 75cl respectively without any difference in result. Neither 1l cut at all and both 75cl shattered in an unusable way. Not a comment on the seller who got the product to me well and on time. Images etc do seem to show it in use with small bottles and i do wonder whether that is what it works on. I have none of those as that's not what i wanted it for, and if that's the case the manufacturer should be clear.But i could not make it work and wouldn't even regift it to a friend. Very disappointed.

Unintuitive instructions and equipment for cutting anything at the smaller end of the sizes it’s supposed to. I failed to make it cut a small square bottle, mainly because it was impossible to keep the cutter against the glass.

Previous reviews suggested that this item may be a little flimsy. I purchased knowing this but have to say whilst it lacks refinement it works very well. Have cut about 18 bottles of differring size and thickness and only had two less than perfect cuts. In fairness these were both as a result of my overenthusiasm. Slow but sure guarantees good results.

So it’s a cool thing and I have successfully made a few glasses from bottles using this. However, there are some major design flaws. Firstly, the section which moves the bottle forward and backward has a screw on the top and a bolt on the bottom. The problem is that the bolt is not held in place so when tightening both top and bottom move so it’s hard to get it tight. Some kind of rail along the bottom needs to be put in place so it stops moving. This issue causes the screw not to be done up tight enough so when scoring the bottle, it will often move back and the line becomes angled and therefore useless. There is also a rubber foot that goes on the bottom of the bottle when scoring which I had to take off as it kept moving in the wrong directions and making the cutting line uneven. Secondly, sometimes the cutter is not sharp enough and requires pressing down harder on the bottle to cut the line. The metal is not strong enough and bends when pushed down too hard. This results in a curved line and the bottle is again useless.Thirdly, I found the instructions not very helpful when adding the extra parts on for cutting square bottles as it doesn’t make too much sense where they are connected on.It’s a shame because this product isn’t really that cheap and the fact there are problems with it means I am not sure it’s worth the money or not. If these problems were fixed it would be an amazing product and totally worth the £20.

Ich habe schon einige Flaschen geschnitten, die ersten zwei sind mir nicht geglückt, danach wurde es aber immer besser, man muss einige Male üben, am besten nimmt man erst mal Flaschen die man nicht unbedingt braucht, um dann mit denen auf die es ankommt weiter zu machen. Desto länger man es macht umso besser wird das Ergebnis. Genaues Arbeiten wird vorausgesetzt, sonst gibt es in der Schnittfläche Macken und und man muss lange schleifen.

Arrivato nei tempi indicati.Prodotto semplice da usare, forse servirebbe qualche accorgimento in più per il posizionamento della bottiglia, ma per il prezzo che ha fa il suo dovere.Su bottiglie tonde si riesce ad ottenere un bel taglio; su bottiglie quadrate più difficile l'utilizzo e si ha anche una precisione e finitura finale peggiore.Non è funzionale in caso di bottiglie con vetri spessi.Consiglio per hobbistica.

super produit et pas cher,mais,je suis novice,alors,mes bouteilles se cassent assez mal pour le moment ..... mais,le produit tient ses promesses!
