GearWrench 1/2 torque wrench with angle
I absolutely love this thing everything is great about it I can’t think of a thing I dislike

Has angle features
Very fine teeth, very well built flex head. The interface isn't as user friendly as Matco or snap on but, worth every penny and not enough of a difference between the brand names to justify even a 100 dollars for the high end models.

Ok
Nice unit turns off too quickly and is a little to complicated compared to my snap On an AC Delco units. Nothing really wrong with it. Just not my preference.

Save your money, buy a better one the first time so you don't have to buy this one multiple times.
They have a fatal flaw rendering them a total waste of money. The cheap plastic battery cover breaks off SO EASILY. I have the 3/8 and the 1/2 and they've both broken off now. Gearwrench does not repair them, they have a third party company that supposedly does it for them. I say "supposedly" because, in reality, they don't. Apparently this cheap plastic cover breaking renders the tool completely unrepairable and they have to sell you a new one instead. Fear not though, it only takes them a month for them to determine that while you don't have a torque wrench. So yay, now you get to spend more money on another wrench that is going to break the first time you drop it or it slips off a nut.

No physical indication when you hit your torque
Honestly, this thing has a very narrow use. For me, that's working on an engine stand. The beeps and the handle vibration only tell you when you get close, not when you hit your programmed torque. For example, for lug nuts I set it at 140 ft/lbs because that's the target. It starts beeping and the handle starts vibrating at 120 ft/lbs. The only indication you've made it to 140ft/lbs is watching the numbers on the display. So you have to be able to see the screen and read the torque. So why in the world even bother setting the torque if the only way to know you hit it is to watch the numbers on the screen? This is annoying. So if you're trying to push inline with the direction you are turning, you can't see the screen very well and you are out of luck. Even my fairly cheap electronic torque adapters ramp up with faster beeping and a steady tone when I hit the torque with them and they cost 1/3 of this thing. Gearwrench really missed the mark. The torque angle works well on the engine stand. I will give it that. The flip side is a lot of the bolts on an LS engine (the whole reason I bought it is because the LS is mostly torque angle) are 15ft-lbs + the angle. The 1/2-in drive only goes down to 25ft lbs so you still need a second torque wrench. This is faster anyway, but worth pointing out. I was outside the return window when I figured this out or I would have returned it. I would certainly not recommend it.

Works as intended. Packaged very well and comes with calibration certificate. Well worth the money.

Beam of torque wrench cracked near ratchet head After 3 years of use

Yes I have lots of torque wrenches already but none that do angle. I needed to torque and angle the bottom end on a GM LS engine in the vehicle. I had to use a lighter wrench to get the 18ft/lbs then I set this to the angles needed and was done in no time. I couldn’t imagine doing this with a dial. The one thing I really liked (with my limited space) was that I could get the angle done with two or three pulls depending on which bolt I was on and it would keep the angle from the previous pull. I got caught once by not clearing the angle when I moved bolts but that’s user error. This was for the wrench with angle btw. I was on my back under the truck so I didn’t want to mess around. I got mine June of 2023 and the wrench doesn’t beep every increment and I didn’t turn off on me while unused. They must have updated the wrench based on user feed back. I’ll try to see how long the wrench can sit before it times out and report back.
