Q: Can a set of separately purchased, wired stereo headphones with a 3.5mm jack be used with the Ultra PocketTalker?

The Pocket Talker is a mono device so any stereo headset will only function in either the left or right channel alone. If you buy a 3.5mm stereo to mono converter ($3 or less) your stereo headset will function in both ears,otherwise you could purchase a mono headset.
