Is Zinpro the same as zink & methionine

On my bottle it says Zinc 15 mg per tablet and Methionine 30 mg per tablet.

Does this bottle come with a shrink wrap or at the minimum a safety/freshness seal to ensure it is not tampered with? Mine arrived open, no seal.

Comes with the inner liner kind of stuck to the top of the bottle but no shrink wrap. Pills are pretty hard so I think it would be hard to tamper with them

what is the difference between this product and nutriVed zinc & methionine

so from what I have read, the methionine is an amino acid that is helpful if your pup has pad lesions in addition to the skin issues from the zinc deficiency. My girl does not have pad lesions so I just use the zinc. She tolerates well, likes the taste and will eat (she is a picky eater). This product helps tremendously. Major improvement in her skin situation. She is seen by a dermatologist and he likes this product for her. I break into smaller pieces with kitchen scissors and she licks them up. I don't put in her food since she doesn't always eat all her food and dosage would not be consistent. Hope this has been helpful and good luck.

Is this good for hyperkeratosis on paw pads?

Zinc responsive dermatosis can manifest in many ways. Hyperkeratosis too, may be multi factorial. Consult your veterinarian, feed a high quality diet (not any of the designer or fad diets) and if you do try it, do not overdose and do a one month trial
