quality for a little less.
if it makes a difference to you, the usb a plugs are oriented with the inside contacts facing up. this means my usb a yubikey has the touch sensor facing down. obviously usb c does not have this problem. I don't fault perixx, inevitably there are other devices that would have experienced this issue if they had reversed it. The keyboard is good; I'm not picky as far as touch type and key feel, but to me it is solid, and the click and feel of the keys are good. if anyone from perixx sees this, my only suggestion is to come up with some solution to make the arrow keys configurable, like a caps lock. arrow lock on, they function as arrow keys. arrow lock off they are home, end, pg up and pg down. i find that it is usually one or the other you want to use...... pg up/dwn for reading, web browsing, arrows for typing, coding, or spreadsheets. i know that most people dont use pg up/dwn and home end, but even in situations where i need to use both, a quick keypress to toggle which i am using would be very easy. I'm sure it will offend someone greatly, but perhaps scroll lock could be used for this? I have never, in my 48 years used scroll lock for anything. have a perixx trackball, and no complaints on either of these peripherals. the trackball is very similar in quality to my elecom deft. had a logitech mx ergo that was just as good as both, but i prefer usb wired to wireless.

Compact, lightweight keyboard with hub, for Windows and Android.
The Perixx Periboard-416 is a compact, lightweight keyboard with hub, for Windows and Android. The keyboard is approximately 28.5cm wide by 11.5cm deep. Underneath it has 5 ‘rubber’ feet to give it grip on the surface it is used on. It has an angled profile, rising away from the user, and the largest point from top of button to underside is about 1.5 cm high. Additionally, there are 2 flip-down risers underneath at the back to raise the angle even higher. Those risers also have 2 little ‘rubber’ feet to give grip. The keyboard is lightweight but does not feel low quality. The quality appears appropriate for the design and price. There is a usb-c connection/power, plus 2 usb-a ports and 2 usb-c ports. USB standard 2.0 is used. Therefore, these ports allow the keyboard to act as a hub for other devices, such as usb storage drives, to be plugged in and accessed. This is very convenient, particularly combined with the compact size. All ports work as expected. The keyboard comes with 2 cables to connect the keyboard to other devices by either their usb-a or usb-c ports. This is not a backlit keyboard. It does have 3 LEDs at the top right to indicate: Function Key on; Caps Lock on, and Scroll Lock on. AlphaNumeric keys are White print on a Black background. These keys are slightly concave. The Fn key and the Functions it enables are indicated in Blue print. Those Function keys plus Esc and Del, all in the top row, are convex. This convexity is the same as the last row, from Ctrl to the directional arrows. The typing experience, which is always a matter of personal preference, is good for a compact keyboard. The keys have good feel. Actuation Distance is claimed to be 1.2 +- 0.2mm. Total Travel Distance is claimed to be 1.6 +- 0.2mm. The keys are quiet in action, without clicking or looseness. No sticking has been detected. All keys work correctly. Durability is unknown at present but it seems like there would be an acceptable lifespan for the cost. The manual claims 3 million Key Presses. The Weight is claimed to be 332 +- 5g. The Perixx website states that the keyboard will work with Microsoft Windows but may have limited function with Android. Some Functions will only work with Windows but others work depending on Android version and device. The keyboard works perfectly for entering numbers and text in Android, such as word processors and spreadsheets from various office suites. Overall, this is a very good keyboard for a reasonable price. It does not make extravagant claims that it cannot meet. It fulfils all the functions that it claims and provides the convenience of a built-in hub. The included cables and the ability to work with both Windows and Android make it a useful device in a lightweight, portable form factor.

How to reset it? No info online nothing. Keyboard behaving, funny.
I like it. But. I could not figure out how to reset. It started working funny press, one key and two letters pop up. Press the letter T and it does something crazy. There is nothing online that shows you how to reset to factory setting. What happened was something leaned on the keyboard perhaps. First time I unplugged it for about a week and it started working again. This time I don’t know what to do.

Great little wired keyboard
I was looking for a wired keyboard to take with me on the go. Found this little guy and it is great. It is small enough but the keys have a good size. In fact, they feel good to touch and to type. It is well built and comes with an integrated USB hub. I'm very satisfied with it. Only left me wishing it would come with a little caring case. Would certainly buy it again.
