After using it for several days, I’m happy to say this one has no problems so far. The mat rolls smoothly, holds its shape well, and the binding has stayed intact with normal home use. Professional sushi chef, these things last forever. Might be expensive but you will go through about 30 - 40 wooden maki’s by the time you need to buy a new one of these. The wooden maki’s unthread so quickly, and you need to replace them just from being unsterile. Yes I wash them multiple times a day but wood still soaks in bacteria. The plastic ones with fishing line are the way to go.

This is got to be one of the best sushi mats out there. I'm a sushi chef and these mats are amazing, especially if you're in a fast paced sushi & bar. Will definitely recommend to all Pro sushi chefs out there.

Prefer this over bamboo. Holds up to heavy use thus far.

裏表使えるのと、清掃のしやすさには便利さを感じます。が竹製に比べ巻感が非常に柔らかいので同じ力加減では圧が掛かりすぎてしまいます。
