It's great for my mini fridge to see how cold it is works great.
I really like this fidge/freezer tempture gauge I use it in my Sub Zero mini fridge in the bedroom. It hasn't got a backlight which i like as my fridge has led lights. It shows you the current tempture and the warmest and the coldest tempture. It's well build and isnt to big but the screen is and is nice and clear. Unlike heat the cold dos not rise so the coldest part of the fridge is the bottom or middle self. You can hook it to a shelf or fold the hook back and use it as a stand. I highly recommend this so you can keep a eye on your fridge temputure. I will buy one for our main fridge. The cold dosnt seem to affect the battery at all. Well worth the money just for peace of mind you fridge or freezer is keeping every thing cold.

Simple but very effective
This was a replacement for the same product. The battery ran out and failed to work after replacement fitted. Otherwise 5 stars. Gives all the information you need to make sure refrigerators temp is correct. Excellent product.

Inexpensive but effective fridge thermometer..
Very happy with this thermometer. I needed a very simple but accurate thermometer for the fridge as I was concerned it wasn’t getting cold enough and came across this item. It arrived the next day, and I only ordered it late evening, which was great. It’s very compact with a decent build quality. I opened the box and there were a set of instructions and a mini screwdriver for opening the cover when the batteries need changing. The unit worked straight away, no messing about. It shows the current temperature, the warmest temperature it’s encontered and also the coldest which is very handy if you are trying to monitor the temperature ranges of the fridge/room. You can reset these readings if you wish very easily. All in all this has proven to be an inexpensive, yet effective, fridge thermometer which I recommend to all.

I use this on my scooter
Velcro'd this onto my Honda scooter commuting bike so I could see the air temperature and have some warning of potentially icy conditions. Big display easy to read while riding. I did try it as a fridge thermometer for a week or so and it works fine.

Handy, but not necessarily accurate
I bought these to put inside my guinea pig hutches and runs - I already had temperature sensors in place but I wanted extra ones that I could move around without having to use a screwdriver. These are handy because they can be hooked onto bars etc. It is easy to see the min/max temperatures and they can be reset with the push of a button. Temperature wise, if the plastic casing heats up this can throw the reading out by 10-15°C.

Very handy
I was concerned my fridge was getting too cold at times and bought this so I could monitor what temperature it actually was. The upper and lower temperature history is handy so I can see at a glance the range and tell if I need to adjust it. I find it reassuring and so far it’s been very reliable and was easy to use

Poor quality and doesn't work: AMAZON refunds also substandard.
Came in an anonymous-looking box stamped 'Made in China'. Plastic device itself didn't work. I wanted to see if the battery was installed: couldn't believe you have to unscrew the battery compartment with a screwdriver. Once inside it was clear the electrical wire wasn't soldered. You wouldn't trust it to monitor your fridge or freezer temperature. But this is as much a complaint about AMAZON. To get a refund I have to print out a certificate, then find a post-office on a work day, then repackage the item and send it back if the post-office can scan the code sent me. Not worth it for a tenner, as I suspect they know. So I went to Lakeland and bought a good fridge and freezer thermometer for £3.50. Buying low-cost items from Amazon is a risk.

Reset the Temperature while holding it inside the Fridge!
Does exactly as you'd expect, just monitors the temp. The downside is when you reset the recorded temp, you need to do that while its in place or you'll get the kitchen temperature instead of the fridge temperature
