I love these shears. Out of the box after washing them off, I spatchcocked a 7 lb chicken ridiculously fast. The shears cleaved through the bone like I was cutting construction paper. The shears feel sturdy and premium in your hand, though the handles are large. People with small hands might need to use both hands to cut. For the price, they function really well. I’m pleased.

They seem well-built and are easy to clean in the dishwasher. The price is good, too -- spatchcocking ruins scissors, so if these hold up over the next 10 times I spatchcock something, they will have paid for themselves. Do yourself a favour and get spatchcocking!
