Love the rice cooker. I’ve had it for more than 4 years now and it still works perfectly.

Our last, otherwise-branded rice cooker was used for almost 2 years.Because i can't mention its brand here or review the last one due to the policy, i'll tell you why this one performs much better, meanwhile priced pretty as much.It's easier to clean, rice at the bottom is not easily burnt or sticky,the bottom of the tub does not peel off over a short period of time,compared to that a-some-letters-a branded one.The basket looks much better designed and more substantial.So now you know what the other one was like.I didn't expect much out of this rice cooker considering the amount of money paid, but it really worked over it.If the must be any drawbacks -- i don't know why the outer of the tub turned pale after being cleaner in the dishwasher. Could be the superficial aluminum got oxidized.Would advise cleaning by hand if it's not that greasy.Overall, still Definitely recommend.

I've been using a pot on the stove to make rice for years and never knew it could be this easy. I need it extra soft and mushy for someone who isn't able to chew and this cooker allows me to leave it cook for as long as I need to. I just add extra water and leave it on for 2 - 3 hours and voila - nice soft mushy rice. I've used it dozens of times and never had an issue with it. It has never burned and the extra steam is collected in a small container on the side or released through the steam valve. The only thing to remember when cleaning, is to remove the floppy part of the lid and give that a good cleaning every time. I didn't know that I needed to wash it and it got gooey and stinky in there. This is one of my favorite and most time-saving purchases.
