Powerful and very easy to use
This immersion hand blender works perfectly and makes cooking so much easier. It is powerful, blends smoothly, and handles soups, sauces, and smoothies with no problem. The design is comfortable to hold, and the buttons are easy to use. I also like that it’s easy to clean and doesn’t take up much space in the kitchen. Great quality for the price—definitely a must-have kitchen tool!

Love this thing so far!
Wow! This sucker has power!! I'm glad I read some reviews first. But then I forgot! Haha! I went to froth milk in my coffee mug while my coffee was brewing & I flung milk allll over the place. I had to find my biggest cup, it's like a 20-22oz plastic tumbler and the milk came almost up to the top while frothing on the lowest of low speeds! So it works well! LOL Beware. I used it to so far to make a milkshake and blend up some bananas and milk to freeze for a treat. I haven't made a smoothie yet but I'm sure it will work just fine. I've read comments about mashed potatoes. I think this thing could handle that, but not a large batch. Just use a hand mixer folks, so you don't burn out the motor on these things. Potatoes are thick, dense and starchy. Anyway, I love making "London fog" types of tea lattes as well as frothed creamer and milk for coffee. Oh and it came with a whisk! Haven't used that yet but that will be nice for eggs, jello, pudding, gravies, sauces, batters, etc!

Good blender
This blender works wonderfully for smoothies. It has four blades, so it blends very quickly and efficiently and isn’t obnoxiously loud (especially compared to the loud two-blade blender I had previously). The attachment on this one is longer too, which means that I can blend more ounces at one time . Literally the only thing I miss about my old blender is that you just twisted the attachments off, and this one you have to squeeze ‘buttons’ on each side, which can’t be done with one hand like with the old one. I really do miss that feature, but this blender performs well enough that it is a worthy sacrifice (though I still gripe when detaching the blade of course :-) All-in-all, I would recommend this blender.
