Got this because my wifi wasn't strong enough to reach my office in the loft room for home working and video calls. This has made my working life SO much easier. I've tested it out for about 6-8 weeks now, and wifi is fast and flawless in my upstairs office as a result. Very easy to set up and chuffed with the results.

I'm using a BT HomeHub with relatively poor range. I had previously purchased a small/£20 wall socket sized WIFI repeater and it worked well but didn't reach the far corners of my house and garden. The TP-Link device works with any Router and the setup was extremely easy with my HomeHub. Range is also excellent. I placed the repeater around 20m from my Hub and it picked up the signal easily and was able to repeat the signal a further 20m into the end of my garden where I have a TV with an Amazon dongle. I live in an old Edwardian house with thick solid brick walls but the device worked fine. In summary its expensive but it works very well indeed. The cheaper version I initially purchased would have been fine in a flat or small house with plasterboard partition walls but not in a larger house.

I recently purchased the TP-Link Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 and was immediately impressed by its solid build quality and sleek design. The setup was straightforward, and the device performed well, delivering a strong, stable signal. It’s clear that this is a high-quality product that could enhance network performance in the right setup.However, I’ll be returning it as I misunderstood its functionality. I initially thought this device would work as a Wi-Fi extender by simply picking up an existing wireless signal and boosting it. Unfortunately, it requires a direct Ethernet connection to receive internet, which I don’t have available. The Wi-Fi here is provided by the building, so there's no way to connect it via cable.In short, a great product but not suitable for my needs. Make sure you check if you have an Ethernet source available if you’re considering this for a similar setup!

This is a great bit of kit. I’ve had repeaters in the past and they all have their flaws, but this one was very easy to set up and works as advertised. I live in an old bungalow band have fibre to the premises at 400MBps. At the back room end of the bungalow the signal degrades a bit making it awkward to play games at full speed. This repeater has restored the speed up to full. The bonus is my echo dot in our tub room also connects easily as does my laptop in my garden shed/radio shack. Okay not at the full 400mbps, but fast enough to do all I need to do. We’ll worth the money and very reliable.

I really loved this little device. Bought it las week, the set up took me about 5 minutes via the iPhone app and it was really simple to follow all the instructions. No need to connect it via cable with the router or anything- you just download the app and it gives you super clear instructions. As for the WIFI boosting itself it has made such a huge difference. I've been able to connect my phone, iPad and laptop and all devices are connected with full Wi-Fi bars and the connection is strong and works really well. I highly recommend this device.

Brilliant device. I have a TP link powerline adapter and the WiFi unit in my room works great, except the max devices than can be connected is only 12. Not enough for all my smart devices, switches, plugs, lights, fan and sensors. I've actually bought this range extender (RE550) To place literally two meters away from the powerline wi-fi unit purely to give me a second access point to connect to. So now the powerline wi-fi unit I use to connect my PC and series X through ethernet, then my phones, two fire sticks and Chromecast connect to its wi-fi. Then this range extender connects to it and allows me to create a second dedicated network which I just called "snart network," so my Google nest and all smart devices connect to that directly. I wasn't sure how well this would work as I was just hoping for the best but it works perfectly. It's actually improved the overall network quality of the powerline wi-fi unit as well, probably just because it's less congested now. Set up was super easy, the app works great too and it actually looks pretty cool as well with the circle light on it too. Although I'm glad that you can schedule the lights to turn off and on at set times as it would be a bit annoying at bed time otherwise. So yeah, great device. I could probably have achieved the same result with a cheaper one but thought it best to just go with TP as I'd already had a good experience with their powerline adapter.

First off, great connection and easiest set up by far. The booster is well designed, lightweight and easy to use. The customisation options for the booster on the app even lets you turn off the LED lights at hours of your choosing which for me was the time I go to sleep. I am a gamer that requires a constant top quality connection and this booster gave me that. Could not recommend this product enough!

I like the way it integrates with the tplink router as a mesh device. Easy to set up.But for me a major drawback that it does not support guest network. I keep all my iot and mobile devices on the guest network and only use the main network for my laptops/pcs. I am going to look for a mesh wifi system that provides main and guest network instead
