bone conduction headphones
I wasn’t completely sure what to expect with this types of headphone. I was very curious to try them. The sound quality was good, although not like a high-end stereo, but I do like the fact that I can hear other people talking and able to use them in a different way than my noise canceling headphones. They allow me to be aware of my surroundings and still listen to the audio coming through. It works great for listening to audiobooks! They are very light easy to charge work great with making calls and receiving calls. Have not had any issues with this product. Customer service is excellent! Gabby was right there to answer any questions that I had and provide any information that I needed to make the most of these headphones!! Best customer service I’ve had with any audio product I’ve ever purchased!!!

It takes a little getting used to, but it's great
This is a bone conduction headset, so it operates differently than normal in-ear or over-ear earbuds. In fact, it doesn't cover the ear at all; your ear canal is completely unobstructed. Rather, the disks you see sit against the skin of your head just in front of your ears (just in front of the tragus -- look it up!), leaving your ears completely open. You can't hear any sound from the headphones if the disks are more than an inch or so away from your head, so you could be playing these at max volume and the person sitting next to you wouldn't be able to hear anything. Plus, since your own ears are not covered, you can also hear ambient sound. That is a plus and minus: if you are on a plane or public transit watching a movie on your phone and want to shut out sound around you, this is a bad choice. But if you're listing to music while on a run or (particularly) a bike ride, and for safety sake you need to be able to hear ambient noise (a passing car or someone shouting out a warning), these are perfect. I primarily use headphones while running or working out, so I need to be able to hear outside sounds, and earbuds (or particularly over-the-ear headphones) could be dangerous -- I won't use headphones while bike riding because the danger from not hearing an approaching car could be deadly. But these are perfect for bike riding. The quality of the sound is good -- again, it takes a little getting used to, hearing through your skull rather than your ears. I don't see any drop-off between regular earbuds and these in terms of sound enjoyment. Only downside -- because volume depends on contact with the skin, the headset moves a little when you move your head (especially when you look directly up), which can impact the volume. Again, it just takes a little getting used to. Quality is good, battery life seems good so far. The on-off button must be pressed for 3 seconds to turn on and 5 seconds to turn off, which is longer than other headsets; and if you take it off and set it down while it's still connected, you'll run down the battery without knowing it (because you can't hear that it's still on). One other thing to get used to. The other buttons are easy to use, and they're spaced far enough apart to be able to use without looking. I've been wearing these exclusively for the last week or so after getting them, and I think they'll be my go-to for workouts. They'll definitely be my go-to for bike rides, since I can easily wear them with a bike helmet on, too.

Good value if you dont mind some compromise
Pros: Good sound (for what it is). If you're somewhere really loud it'll get drowned out, and it doesnt have the range that full headsets would. Its fine for casual gaming, most music I've listened to, and spoken word/audiobooks/podcasts. I appreciate it taking a standard Usb-C charger instead of some proprietary magnetic one since it makes it easier to use on the go, but this likely will mean that despite the port plug it won't be as water resistant as other models. The fit is decent. It doesnt squeeze my head or fall off, but it doesnt have a large range of movement. Tilting my head or looking side to side causes it to lose proper contact with my head and it can be very uncomfortable to wear if I have it on and lay down in bed or on the couch. Battery life is pretty great - even in a marathon listen session I got over 8 hours of life, which beats every other headset and ear bud I have tried. I have not used the microphone to place calls, so I cannot speak to voice quality - but thats not what I got this for. Overall, a fine headset for casual use at a good price point.

Awesome Headphones!
Received the X14 and unpacked accordingly. Comes with a USB-C charger cable and after 15 minutes red light went off and it was fully charged. Put it on my head and thought, wow, it is just too small to fit over my head and reach my ears. Why don’t they have the ability to expand?? Was ready to send it back and get the XL version (if there was one), however I looked at the pictures online, and found that it needed to go on horizontally and rest on my neck. Duh! Bluetooth setup was easy, as I clicked on the middle MFB button and my phone found it with no issues and I connected seamlessly. The volume and sound quality is great for such a small unit. Kept it around 10% of my phone max and it was more than adequate. Volume controls, albeit very small, work as they should. Listened to music for a couple of hours the first time I used the unit and answered a few calls without issue. Left my phone upstairs, walked around the house and even outside and down the driveway 50 or so feet and it still connected so the range is really good as well. Day two, after using for about 3 hours, the power was still at 75%. Day three, after using a couple more hours, was at 40%. Received low battery notification around 20% and continued to get notification at 10% every five minutes or so. Did various tasks while the headphones were in place and did not have any issues with them falling off. And they fit outside my ears perfectly and are generally comfortable and don’t feel out of place. Certainly love that I don’t have to have them inserted. The beauty of the ‘bone’ design! No negatives here, all positives. For the price it certainly meets and beats my need . . . I am duly impressed. Five Stars . . .

Gets the job done
I got mine about two months ago, they’re alright. The power button is a bit finicky and it’s hard to understand the quiet voice saying if it’s turning on or off, checking the power light doesn’t help since it blinks so irregularly. The rubber band is flexible meaning it’s easy to throw in a pocket without damage. Though the adjusting the band for a secure fit has not worked for me, it just makes it pop off my head. They aren’t super loud, and if you need to turn it up don’t be watching something inappropriate in public cause it isn’t a “bone conductor” it’s just a speaker near your ear and the louder it is, the more the people around you can hear. I appreciate the skip/pause controls. Oh and the battery life so far is great, I work 12 hour shifts and it’ll have power for at least 8 hours straight.

Great set of open earbuds
I have tried several types of earbuds and they all seem to bother my ears. I tried these ones because the price was right and I thought why not. As I was waiting for them to arrive, I noticed a reviewer claim that you had to manually turned them off each time you put them away. My first thought was that would be a definite dealbreaker. So the first thing I did when they come in, was checked out and sure enough it appeared like you had to turn them off manually when you put them away. However, if you look at them, you can press a button on the case, and that put them into a standby mode. Problem solved. This does not appear to affect the battery life at all because they do last quite a long time. Connection is fast and sure. This is not a touch type but has an actual button on the side to control them. I happen to like that better because I know I will be making a connection. I have tried some of the touch type and they don’t really tend to work very well. So far so good with these. If they don’t last for more than a few months, I will come back and edit this to let you know. If it stands as it is, I highly recommend these. Very comfortable, reasonable price, quality build.

Works great.
The headphones work great. Frankly, I would say, it is much better than I expected at this price. The sound quality is good, and it is comfortable to wear. Another highlight is the excellent battery life. I use it about 3 to 4 hours per week (for walking, hiking, running), I only need to charge them once or twice a month. The USB-C charging port is also a plus, as it is the same for my phone and laptop. So I don’t need to carry an extra cable when traveling. The customer service seems pretty good. I haven’t had any issues with the headphone, but a representative (Gabby) reached out proactively to check if I needed any assistance, which I really appreciated. One observation is that the frame can sometimes touch the collar of bulky winter clothing (e.g., a puffer vest) causing slight movement during walking, hiking, or running. It's not an issue of the headphone, but it would be great if the frame can be adjusted to fit the head better.

All depends on what you’re looking to get out of them
If you’re coming from wearing AirPods or some other device like them, you’ll have to get used to the difference in sound projection. They don’t sound as loud but they’re adequate and they fit well and snug enough without bouncing while I’m running. I care more about how they feel around my ears/head than how loud they sound. They certainly don’t provide any noise cancellation at all, I guess I should make that clear. You can still hear everything going on around you. Overall, they do the job and now I can give my ears a break from the pods.
