Pinewood finish is just a sticker and comes off easily!
This is truly a case of 'You get what you pay for'. The bedside cabinet is easy to assemble and fairly sturdy (make sure to use superglue as it won't hold together otherwise) but the pinewood appearance is literally a sticker layer on the top of woodchip board, if it gets at all wet due to cleaning or a glass it scratches right off with very little effort. Decent functionality but be cautious about spilling anything on it as the aesthetic won't last!
