Review: First unit defective ceramic coating....waiting on replacement..... - Waiting on a replacement - just received this unit, inspected the two metal grill plates and both appeared to have slight ripples in the coating, ran my finger over one of them and the ceramic coating flaked right off - never even been used! Have ordered a replacement unit to give the benefit of the doubt, will see if that fares any better and if this is just a bad unit, not great though as thought the ceramic coating would be really durable. Edit: second model much better, ceramics were clear and non defective, have been using for several months now.

Absolutly love this grill. Pancackes, burgers, eggs, bacon ect, everything cooked perfectly. Easy to use, cooks edge-to-edge as advertised and cleaning is so quick and easy.
