We updated our central vac system, and as we did not have the provision for an electric head we opted for this. We were a little concerned that there was no rug height adjustment. However, the power head doesan excellent job on varying height rugs. Very powerful, does not bog down. Would recommend .

I was going to return this as it is extremely loud like a jet engine whine when used on my low pile Berber carpet. My housekeeper encouraged me to keep it as it works well under furniture like the bed and sofa. Very strong suction. Does not work well in corners. I think it would work well on a medium pile carpet and be whisper quiet as advertised.

It is exactly like the one purchased with my central vac system 17 years ago. Works exactly the same. I feel the price is somewhat high since there has been absolutely no change except the color in all these years.

My old one finally went out and the brushes were worn out. I have two and the other one I purchased from a repair man that works on central vacuum systems. Well of course is price to replace the part was over twice the price as I found it on Amazon. So works great and was not disappointed in the price,.

The one I had for many years bit the dust (pun intended). This one looks to be identical in all respects and is working very well.

We bought this almost a year ago and it already stopped working. Our last vacuum had lasted almost 20 years and worked great. Disappointing this one cost $130 only to last 11 months. This one needed to have the bottom tray taken off almost every time we used it because it would get jammed- Often nothing there.

Purchased to replace an older "Carpet Cat" model from Vacuflo. The Turbocat has been completely redesigned and is much better than the earlier model. Easy to open the bottom cover for cleaning. More powerful than the Carpet Cat; it actually pulls the device along the carpet if you let it. It also has a lower profile, so will fit under furniture more readily. It even comes with a parts list so you can order replacement parts should they be needed.One problem we encountered was that once the pet hair was brushed up from the carpet, it collected in small windrows rather than being vacuumed up. Several passes are sometimes required to completely pick up the hair. Or, you can try a second pass with the carpet tool (smooth bottom, no brush).Recommended.

Perfect for carpet. People complain it’s loud. It's a vacuum head, if you expect it to be silent it won’t be but it’s not obnoxiously loud. It’s what would be expected. The suction is only as good as your central vacuum. Mine is great so this works flawlessly with my central vac. People also complain about the beater bar getting clogged with hair. Well yeah, show me a vacuum that doesn’t happen to. I have a wife and a daughter, I need to take my dyson animal apart monthly to clean the bar And I only use that in between cleaning with my central vac. This is no different. Again, it’s sort of expected. All in all great product.
