The look of the hamper is cute, but it’s not sturdy at all. I’ve had this hamper for a couple of months now and it keeps getting more and more lopsided. Nothing I do will fix it and I’ve taken it apart and put it back together multiple times. I don’t recommend this at all. It’s definitely not worth the money as I already have to buy a different one.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this item is well thought out and sturdy. It’s light, holds a lot.

Large for 1-2 people but if I had a family I would go larger and non-collapsible. Me personally, was looking for a collapsible unit that can be put out of the way if needed and stored but not too flimsy....since tossing a dirty t-shirt or socks into the laundry basket aka "Larry Bird for 3" basketball style can be fun from a distance, so I did not want it to fall over or move if I hit the rim or banked a dirty hand towel off the wall for 2 pts. Clever design using 4 rods and Velcro--came with detachable bag to walk it to the washer. Sturdy bamboo rim and handles--this is perfect for me alone or 1 each for a kid`s room but if your kid is a dirty laundry "dunker" you might want to pick a stronger product--for me it is great. Overall well made, attractive, nice selection of colors and fits my life style.
