Great Low Cost Cookware Set for RV, Dorm, or Smaller Spaces
I bought this set for use in our travel trailer. Consumer Reports rated it high for low cost cookware so I thought I would give it a try. The deciding factor between this and other cookware sets was the size selection of the pots and pans. This has a smaller 5 quart stock pot where the rest had 8 quart. The set is nice and compact, better fitting the limited storage space of an RV. So far I like cooking in the pans. The heat seems to distribute through the pan better than I expected for low end cookware. The ceramic surfaces are truly non-stick and clean up nicely. They should last if bit if only using silicone utensils and never use any sort of scrubbing sponge or abrasive cleaner. Two things I would have liked better are handles that are not metal and don't get warm (potentially hot), and pan protectors for stacking pans without scratching. Other sets in the price range come with protectors. Despite these two negatives, I am satisfied with choosing this set for the size and quality experienced so far.

Great pans
Best set of pots and pans I’ve ever bought. Works great and came boxed perfectly.

Buyer Beware!
Although this cookware set is very nice and lightweight, I am extremely disappointed that ALL of the pots do NOT have the warp control bottoms, as advertised. Only the frying pans have this bottom; the rest are just made of the same thing as the rest of the pots. I tried to get the others (saucepan, saute pan and stock pot) replaced, but the second set I received was exactly the same -- no special bottom on them. I use the saute pan regularly and am concerned that it will warp over time. It seems to me that the advertising for this set is very inaccurate -- or is it bait and switch?

Still looking good
Update: It's been just over a month and my set still look and work like new. I actually posted a big note on the range hood describing my rules for using this set so my adult sons won't ruin them. Since it's been a month I'll stand by my word and reseason them now. It's worth a few minutes to keep them working so well. My rules: 1. No turning the stove higher than 7. No non stick pan should be used at high heat. 2. No metal utensils. So the pans aren't scratched while cooking. 3. Hand wash only. It's easy since nothing sticks to the pans. 4. Wash only after pans have cooled. Keeps the pans from warping. 5. Do not nest the pans. So the bottom of one pan can't scratch another pan. I did order a couple of silicone handle grippers. These hollow handles do transfer heat quicker than the solid metal handles of my worn out set of pans. I've yet to be using a pan long enough on high enough heat for the silicone to be required, but I do notice that while the end of the handle is still cool and I can still pick it up with no problem, the closer to the actual pan the handle gets then the hotter it gets. Physics. I can easily tolerate warm handles and using the silicone covers if needed because of how great the non stick function on these pans works. Food slides around so easily in these pans that I can flip it like a professional chef. I can't say enough good things about these pans. I'm glad I pulled the trigger and bought them. Original review: I just got them and at a great price. The first thing I did was to hand wash them. Then I coated them in canola oil and put them in the oven at 300 degrees for two minutes to season them and then wiped out the excess oil. The next morning I used one of the pans to cook my breakfast. Three pieces of bacon. They provide their own grease of course, but never even came close to sticking. They slid around the pan like I've never seen before. Hash brown potatoes next. No sticking at all. I can flip them in the pan like a professional chef. Now my egg. The potatoes had sucked up all the bacon grease and I added no oil or butter so my egg slightly stuck to the pan, but it easily broke free and slid around. (Next time I'll add a dab of butter or canola oil before cooking the egg. Somehow, with everything cooking so easily, my breakfast tasted better than usual. No sticking. No fighting. No adjusting stove temperature. My ceramic stove has the following settings. Simmer, Lo, 1 thru 9 and Hi. I turned the burner to 5 and left it there during the entire cooking process and everything cooked perfectly. I intend to ignore the contradictory claims of this set and will take good care of them. You know, dishwasher safe, but hand washing recommended. Safe for metal utensils, but silicone recommended. So, no metal utensils. Hand wash only. Wash only after the pans have cooled. Never turn my stoves burner higher than 7 (more likely 6 since 5 cooked my breakfast fine). I won't even nest them. I intend reseasoning them once a month. I'm retired and have the time and I want to keep them in the great shape they are in right now. It is true that the handles can heat up. My old (formally non stick) pans had solid metal handles that never had this problem so I really didn't expect these handles to heat up. However, these handles are hollow and so the heat crawls through them much faster than solid handles. That said, while cooking my breakfast I never had a problem touching the handle and never needed a mitten or pot holder. I did check though and found that the portion of the handle closest to the pan did get to hot to touch. The portion of the handle that I needed to touch only got slightly warm. Those that have handles get to hot may have the burner turned up to high or else their pan may be on the burner for a very long time. I can see how if I'm cooking something like fried chicken that might take a while that the handle might eventually get hot so I might go ahead and order some silicon handle covers. So far I have no complaints with hot handles and I love these pots and pans. I'm pretty good at updating my reviews should things change, so if the pans start to peel, stick, warp or have other problems I'll update.

Wonderful! ... but for one flaw
UPDATE after one year: These pans are great. I've used some of them literally every day and they look and work as well as the day I received them. I got past being bugged by the small flaw on one of them, mentioned below. The finish on these has held up one-hundred percent. Sure, there's a tiny bit of a tendency to stick, but they clean up extremely well. I've resorted to using a little bit of spray-on dish soap with some baking soda and 50% vinegar/water on them a few times after an especially messy stir fry session. They have cleaned up spotless and seriously like the day I bought them. If I posted pictures today and when I bought them, you would never see the difference. I even cooked one for quite some time with no water, something has ruined pans in the past. This one took it like a champ. They're a bit lightweight, but the heat distribution is pretty good. I've been using them with a glass-top electric range, if that's any help. I've put back the star I took off originally. I think these deserve it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'll start off by saying I really, really like this set of cookware. I'll also say that Blue Diamond customer service is responsive and professional. However, I can't help but take a star off due to a little bit of damage in the arrived product. I discovered four small dents in the cooking surface of the 9.5" frying pan. They won't affect the performance, but I can't help being just a little bit bugged every time I see them. In the hope of not having to return the whole set I reached out to Blue Diamond customer service. They responded quickly asking for photos and order details. However, ultimately, they declined to replace just the one piece. Sure, I could have returned the whole set no questions asked but have decided not to do that. So I'm writing this to say 1) This is a really, really nice set, and 2) Check everything very, very carefully on receipt. Other than this small disappointment, I'm very very happy with the purchase. I just need to get over my OCD until such time as I bang the darn things up enough myself to no longer notice this.

Not worth the price you pay . Beware.
If you have young teens that cook then this is not the best cookware . We are careful being adults still the product isn't really worth the price you pay . Ours are already showing chipping in the ceramic coating . The metal aluminum is quite thin they do not take much heat . Already have hot spots in skillets and places where the food sticks no matter the temp . Everything I've purchased so far from amazon has been really good quality from the companies but this is by far my worst purchase yet . Totally disappointed and I guess I'll be sticking to stainless steel from here on out . Or pay a higher price to get real ceramic cookware .

Light but not durable
The Blue Diamond 10-Piece Nonstick Cookware Set looks great and is very lightweight, which makes it easy to handle and use every day. When new, the nonstick surface works well and food releases easily. Unfortunately, the durability has been disappointing. In less than a year, the nonstick coating on several pieces started to chip. Once the coating chipped, food began sticking to those areas, defeating the purpose of nonstick cookware. I also found that these pans are not as easy to clean as I expected. While some messes come off easily, stuck-on food around the damaged areas can require extra scrubbing.

Does not work with induction stoves!
The description is wrong. These pans DO NOT work with induction stoves. Moreover, construction is very thin, cheap aluminum. I would not keep them even if they did work.
