Highly recommended, especially at this price point!!! Surprisingly well-made!
I’m 55 years old and have been playing drums for 46 of those years, with at least 40 years spent playing semi-professionally. Over that time, I’ve played my fair share of gigs—everything from wedding receptions, retirement parties, engagement parties, and private events to full concert series shows… and yes, even two funerals. (In both cases, the dearly departed were big jazz fans and specifically requested fun, upbeat jazz instead of the usual somber hymns and dirges—so those were actually some pretty memorable and unique celebrations of life.) Needless to say, I’ve owned and used a lot of gear over the years. Some of it has been fantastic, some just okay, and some has been absolute garbage. That’s why I feel confident saying this: for the price, this is one of the best drum gig rugs I’ve come across—and I was very pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the material, especially considering this is the least expensive version they offer. First off, the price point is excellent. You’re getting a well-made rug that doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. The material is durable, holds up well under hardware, and inspires confidence for gig use. The non-slip backing works exactly as it should, and I really appreciated that they included extra anti-slip pads for added stability—nice touch. It’s also incredibly easy to maintain. This rug vacuums clean without any hassle, and the fact that it’s machine washable is a huge bonus. Size-wise, it’s perfect for smaller setups—compact enough to transport easily, but still gives you plenty of usable space. Shipping was another standout for me—I received mine the same day I ordered it, which is almost unheard of. Now, I’ve seen some people mention that the rug arrives wrinkled. That’s true—but it’s also an easy fix. Here’s what worked perfectly for me: since it’s machine washable, I threw it in the washer on a “Deep Clean” or “Bed Linen” cycle and filled the fabric softener dispenser to the max. After that, I put it in the dryer on high heat for about 20–30 minutes. Once it was done, I took it out and hung it over my bannister railing. The wrinkles pretty much disappeared. You could also use a steamer or even an iron like the instructions suggest—but I prefer working smarter, not harder, and this method worked like a charm. One thing worth pointing out: some reviews mention (and picture) a built-in Velcro strap for securing the rug when rolled up. That is NOT included with this entry-level version (the one I purchased), so don’t expect it. I assume that feature comes with the larger, more expensive models. Personally, I picked up a Velcro strap kit on Amazon for about $8 (I use them for camping and trout fishing gear as well), and that solved the problem easily. You could also just use a simple bungee cord. All in all, this is a great little drum gig rug. It’s going to be perfect for my smaller, more intimate gigs where I’m just bringing out a four-piece cocktail kit. For larger setups—like when I break out my Yamaha PHX or Yamaha Beech Custom kits with more pieces—I’d definitely recommend going with a bigger, heavier-duty rug. But for what it is, this rug is ideal and will pair perfectly with my Gretsch 4-piece Catalina kit. Highly recommended, especially at this price point.

Much better than a toupee
This is a high-quality drum rug. It’s made from dense wool with ridges, so hardware stays put. It provided a nice sound of taping on our vinyl flooring. It’s not really meant for a transport, but you could roll it up and take it along if you need to.

Keep your flooring, looking new by using this
For those of you that have ruined your carpet by playing your favorite practice kit in the basement this is for you. The Velcro works great and it stops you from ruining your carpet. Good price lays, flat works great.

I was expecting it to be a little more robust, but it works okay
This isn't a terrible deal, but I thought it would be a bit more robust. It came rolled up and unrolled well. It didn't have a lasting weird smell. It's soft and has a layer of rubber on the bottom. It's a good size for a drum kit. That's all the good. I don't know if you can see it in my photo, but the fibers are starting to fray/unwind a bit, just from a few weeks of shoe wear. It's lighter than I expected, and I was able to relatively easily poke a hole clear through it. I wouldn't expect this to hold up to drum spikes very well. You'll probably want to have rubber tips on everything, which, to me, defeats the purpose. It's not a bad, budget option. But I would expect it to cost a little less at this quality level. Get it if you've got a coupon or it's on-sale.

Great value
This is a perfect rug for a large kit covers all the area around a double bass kit with rack, easy to keep clean simple broom removing all the wood dust without sticking or pulling. Comes with corner end covers I didn’t use them. Had some nice grips on the underside of the rug for some grip.

I get it, but…
So I read the reviews about the creases and stuff but gave it a try anyway. I'm using it at home for my drum set so not in public or for gigs. The creases are absolutely not coming out, but it does hold everything in place. My hi-hatwould constantly slide but doesn't anymore. So if you're okay with creases this is a great mat; if not keep looking. I wish the company would roll the rug versus fold it

Drum Mats
I want to say that my Drum mat is very reliable. I bought it a couple of weeks for my whole drum set . I was having issues with the my drum snare sliding on the carpet while playing . The annoying part I had to keep pulling my drums back , tightening knobs , and trying to keep it from sliding on the floor. I dealt with this issues for a long time until someone I know told me about these mats. It changed my life completely around . I don’t have to worry about my whole drum set sliding or moving while playing . The mats works really good at preventing my whole drum set from sudden movement . They work great . I recommend it

Drum Mats
These mats were a gift to my granddaughter for Christmas. She put them under her drum set. They mask some of the noise in the second floor room.
