The first combined edition of The Flowers of Evil features volumes 1-3 of this best-selling and acclaimed series. It follows the adventures of a lonely bookish teen struggling to find his identity through Baudelaire’s poetry, until two girls—a beauty and a bully—help him find true love and friendship. Edgy, intense, and romantic, this new edition will give fans a chance to reconnect with Kasuga, Saeki, and Nakamura as it explores the issues of bullying, loneliness, individuality, and identity. Review: A bizzare and twisted slice of life that i just cannot put down - A reprint/omnibus of a series from a few years ago, Flowers Of Evil is a legendarily strange and uncomfortable series, hell the quote on the back even compares aspects to david lynch films. It revolves around themes of identity, perversion, and even abuse to some extent. And all those elements come together to create an engrossing read. The art is masterful, creating varied character designs and expressions that go far and beyond just changing out hairstyles. The characters, or rather the 3 focused on ones, are all fairly well definied personality wise. Kasuga is a bit of an awkward coward with more than a little pretention about it, Nakamura is an agressive borderline sadist who loves tormenting andd confusing Kasuga (and is also by far the most interesting) , and Saeki is the average nice and pretty girl who serves and Kasuga's "muse" aka serves his fantasies. And all of their interactions can create very moving or tense moments The bizzare nature of the series is something that has to be seen to be believed, in fact in some ways it's almost a subversion of typical slice of life/romance tropes. Cant really think of anything like it aside from maybe SunDome, though this does the sexuality angle far better. Youre also getting a great value for your money, almost 600 pages for. around 20 dollars, nearly double of a standard 3 in 1. Overall this is a great book. The type you dont want to read because the more you read the quicker it'll be over. For fans of non-typical slice of life stories this is a must Review: So Thrilling! - I love this book, I never thought I would read another book as jaw dropping as this one. It’s full of crazy events and turns and even cooler is that some of the book is based off the authors hometown. I finished this book in one night and already ordered the next complete. So excited!!

Good book to read!
The book are good to read but if you don't care about paper quality, you can see little though the two pages from manga if you see it very close for no reason. Sadly it is how it work for poor quality for papers om the books.

A must read.
This manga inspired me to buy Baudelaire poetry! The Artwork is full of emotion. The font size is large and easy to read. Why did I wait so long to discover this manga series? I am enjoying it immensely. It is suspenseful, and deeply psychological. It is a must have for those who love and collect and read manga. By the way, I ordered the rest of the series as well.

Well written
Great story! Not really for the faint of heart just a good horror manga. I must say this author ends his books way better than Junji Ito!!

Excelente Título, Excelente Edición.
La historia es muy buena . No hay más que decir solo leerla. En cuanto la edición es un 3 in 1 con las portadas originales dentro . Pasta blanda con hoja gruesa . Excelente compra .

Hooked after watching the anime
After watching the anime, I fell in love with The Flowers of Evil and just had to get the manga. It did not disappoint. Oshimi's art style is very unique and wonderful to look at. The story has me hooked and I can't wait to read the next book!
