After the seller reached out and explained how to properly use this item is great really works well, if your on the fence just give it a try it's well worth the price

When I first received my microscope I tried over and over to get the 40x objective lens to focus, and it would not, and could not. This is because the lens was defective. I let the seller know and sent them a photo of what I was seeing and asked only for a replacement 40x objective lens. They ended up sending me a brand new microscope kit and all 3 objective lenses were in perfect working order. The seller was fantastic. Their customer service was stellar, and they were quick to remedy the issue, no questions asked. 5/5 stars. Now onto the product.This is an excellent beginner microscope for an unbeatable price. It is highly capable and has great magnification. The viewing experience is crisp and clear. You can do a lot with this microscope if you get really creative. Absolutely amazing value. Highly recommend this microscope for beginners. It's going to make you want an even more powerful microscope when you see what's possible with this one!Both adults and children would get a lot from this. I'm a grown woman and use mine regularly!

I bought this microscope for my kids, but I’ve found myself using it too—it’s a great set for beginners and curious learners. The WF10x and WF25x eyepieces provide clear magnification, and it’s easy to switch between the different levels. The included slides are a nice bonus to get started right away. It’s sturdy and feels well-made for the price. Perfect for kids’ science projects or just exploring things around the house. Not a high-end lab model, but definitely more than just a toy.

I have always had an interest in the microscopic world, so reading this microscope's item description piqued my interest. When it arrived, I was rather pleased to see that the microscope comes in its own soft-sided carrying case that has dedicated spots for all of the various parts.This microscope performs well. While it is NOT professional grade, it IS comparable to many of those we used in high school biology class, and only slightly inferior to those we used in college. The included wide field eyepieces can be switched to go with the built-in magnification powers to give you views of objects at 40x to 2000x magnification. The lighting is great with two light sources. Coarse and fine adjustments are easily and smoothly made using the adjustment knobs. Basically, it's got everything I want in a microscope in a non-professional setting.An added bonus to all of this is that it comes with accessories. Not only is a USB power cable included, but also the block -- a nice touch, considering that a lot of companies do not include the block with their USB-powered devices. Also, the microscope comes with prepared slides AND extra slides and cover slips to use with whatever you'd like to examine. There are other small accessories in a plastic box, including tweezers, a blade, and a dropper. Also, a phone adapter is included. I have very mixed feelings about that -- it works, but it was kind of difficult to use. It would be great for taking pictures and videos... just wish it fit onto the phone and microscope eyepiece more securely.Overall, this is really a nice microscope for the price. When I went to test it the first time, I ended up spending two hours because it was fascinating and fun! I can easily recommend this scope to anyone who is interested in the microscopic world.

This microscope is a great starter microscope. The optics are good and it comes with a few different slides to look at. The stage is fixed and unable to move, so you have to move each slide manually which is a downside. The microscope I received also did not have dual eye pieces like in the picture. The one I received only has one eye piece. Overall, a decent microscope for the price.

The mechanical stage is a nice touch, letting you move slides smoothly and precisely—something you don’t always get at this price point.The optics are clear, and with both 10x and 25x eyepieces, you get a useful range of magnification options. Looking at the included prepared slides, the images are sharp and bright enough to see details.One thing to note is that the lighting system takes a little time to figure out. There are separate LED lights above and below the stage, each with its own brightness control. The lower light is what you’ll use most for slides, while the upper light is mainly for looking at solid objects. Adjusting the diaphragm and condenser to get the best contrast can be a bit of trial and error at first. It’s not hard, but it does take a little patience to get used to all the settings.
