Great rev counter
I wanted a rev counter without an hour meter or digital display; this one fit the bill and worked perfectly. Be aware that calibration requires only very slight adjustments.

Very accurate, smooth and steady readout
I purchased this tachometer as an accessory tach for my John Deere Tractor. The original stopped working and it's $1300 to replace. I used the IP 65 project box (ASINB0D56QF9LH) from Amazon to mount it. Installation was easy and I am very impressed with the accuracy and movement of the tach. It is smooth and steady. Easy to calibrate. I would recommend this tachometer.

Just had to dial it in and it's somewhat accurate. It works though.

Not at all easy to install
I brought this tacho thinking it would connect to my alternator. Others said it was easy to install. I cannot install it or find any detailed instructions on how to do it. The little piece of paper with a view diagrams that comes with it is hopeless and also I now find it may need a resistor installed between the alternator and the gauge or I could blow up the gauge or burn down the tractor. Very frustrating that makers of these products don’t at least provide easy to understand detailed instructions. Guess you get what you pay for.

Bueno pero necesita un convertidor
Trabaja bien pero necesite un convertidor de voltaje a 5v deberían de decir que necesita 5v, tuve que averiguar a qué voltaje trabaja y el diagrama solo marca una resistencia pero no te da la información
