Special Features | The Rail Guide Coping Sled Pro features a clear acrylic fence for reference which is offset and raised 2” above the base so there are no worries about cutting into the sled. Using a fence rather than a miter bar mounted to the bottom means that you will always be parallel to the router table fence. This is a distinct time saving advantage as you will no longer have keep re-adjusting your router table fence. |
Usage | Designed to be used on router table with fences installed. The Rail Guide Coping Sled Pro is the ideal tool to cut clean, smooth profiles in your style and rail end grains for seamless joints. |

Happy with my purchase, materials cost to make alone almost pays for this.
Not sure what the complaints are about. This works well. Easy to see and a sacrificial board is expected to reduce tear out. Does not have to be the same wood and end can be cut off and sacrificial board reused several times depending on the length used and dept of cut. For repeat cuts it does not need to be changed. The clamp mechanism works fine and is like most I use on DIY. Ensure proper adjustment and that the unit is solid on mount - see below fix...It will hold the piece firmly down.It is simple which I like.Negative:I did have to add some lock washers as the bolts are about 1-2mm long for the provided hardware. I would rate as 4.5 stars.

Great Sled!
I'm making new cabinet doors and regardless of my efforts, I could not cut a decent tenon; they all came out looking terrible. So I go this Rail Guide sled and now all of my tenons come out perfect! It was straight forward to assemble and it is very easy to use with my router table. It was worth every penny in the investment to get great looking rails for my doors. I would definitely purchase it again!

Works as intended. Clamp is chintzy.
Worked great for my needs. The clamp is cheaply made, but the cost was a lot lower than others on the market. Went together easily. I would buy it again.

Great Sled
This worked perfect for making my cabinet doors. I tried to make one without it and the end grain router for the cabinet rail was sketchy and sloppy, this allowed for a perfect and repeatable process!!! So easy I accidently router some of my stile’s.🤦🏼♂️

The toggle clamp cannot be secured with the provided bolts, steel washers and capped nuts.
The toggle clamp cannot be secured with the provided bolts, steel washers and capped nuts. Did I miss something here? If not I will add more or thicker washers.

Give this one a look, you'll be glad you did
Easy to assemble and set up, very well constructed, 15 cabinet doors and 10 drawer fronts to make. This will do nicely.
