E-Cloth 2 in 1 Extendable Duster

I have been using a swifter for years with the extension handle. The Swifter is great and it gets even better if you spritz it with a little water from a spritzing bottle (just very lightly damp). Well, I tried this product today. I had to use my pruning shears for my roses to undue the plastic things holding it in the package.The handle seems very strong and long (even when it is twisted to the shortest length). Not all of us are tall. I also don't like to have to use the shorter handle for everything that is reachable first and then have to go back over the room again with the long handle to get the rest. Cleaning is not my favorite activity and I just want to get it done by going around the room once, not twice. I found the long handle unwieldy even on its shortest setting. Don't have that issue with the swifter.Each week with I clean, I clean my fan blades, baseboards, vents, the corners of the room, doors, sills, under the bed, under furniture, etc. I have wooden floors and don't like dust bunnies. I go through at least two of the disposable swifter cleaner "cloths" for each cleaning of my house (I have a small house) as they get dirty. I was hoping not to be wasteful and not contribute to more landfill items by using this product. Well, not happening.It grabs the dust bunnies just fine along with dust and hair, etc. You then have nothing to clean it with, other than to wash it, before you move on to the next room, when it gets dirty. In order to clean it, you have to wash it by hand as it has a long plastic thing in the middle of it that would bang around in my washing machine if I were to use that for cleaning. You also have to buy a second product if you want an additional head as they don't sell them separately. After you wash it, it has to hang upside down (good luck with that) to dry. It does not dry quickly.I found it not able (due to its size) to fit in some of the smaller spots that my swifter can get into easily. What really gave this the one star that this product got was that I had not even finished cleaning the first room, when I noticed that it was not picking up the dust on my dresser. I would go over the dresser top with this product and there was still some dust on top of it! Well, I thought I would try spritzing it with a little water to see if that would help (I live where the humidity is less than 10%). Nope. After five tries, I finally just grabbed my swifter and the swifter cleaned it just fine.I was also concerned that the plastic tip on the top of this might scratch my floors or furniture. I did wash it by hand and the white tip of it is now grey from the dust that it did pick up. So, it does work in picking up some of the dust but not all of the dust for me. Sorry landfill. I will continue to use my swifter.

Very disappointed. Loved the product and use many E-cloth products bc I have my own cleaning company but this was a giant fail. Used it 8x and then it snapped off. Not in a spot that’s able to fix either. Not spending the money to buy another to have the same happen. Too expensive to replace after snapping so quickly and easily. My company is unfortunately going back to my old extendeable duster.

It's great not using chemicals to clean the house. For the E-Cloth, just add water and rinse when it gets a little dirty. Would definitely recommend trying the E-Cloth.

The handle didn’t hold the adjustment to extend the length. The smaller portion was wonderful. Too bad it didn’t last more than 10 minutes. I had to return mine. I was sad

with an extendable handle, I was able to dust all my high places without a ladder. This duster is washable great on my purse.

Finally reached those ceiling cob webs! Pleased with the dusting performance, though I do feel like I'm going to snap the handle- probably anxious thinking, but it feels a bit brittle.
