Standard Motor Products CCR-5 Cruise Control Switch

Easy to install for what’s it is.I went in through the wheel well.So far about 1500 miles and it’s working like it should.

2 failed attempts to get my cruise working by experts. This was the only part not changed. 2008 F350 just remove the inner fender on the driver’s side. Easy access to the master cylinder 5 minutes to change. Cruise working now. Very nice price also.

Delivered quick. Took under a minute to swap out with the old one. Now my cruise control is back in action!

Part works well, and took me about 3 minutes to swap out. Didn't even lose any brake fluid. For about $25 less than pretty much the same part from an auto parts store, very good value.FYI: outside diameter of the nut/housing is 22.7mm. I used a 24mm box wrench, but a 23 would have been better. But, not much needed to get it off, and you don't want to torque it too hard on install, so 24mm worked perfect.

Fixed inop cruise control.

This fixed the problem with the cruise control not turning on, but the switch is bad after only 6 months. Now I'm buying the Motorcraft part, which I should have done in the first place.

The cruise control stopped working on the Ford Explorer SportTrac. After replacing the switches (they were in pretty bad shape and needed to be replaced anyway) and that didn't fix the problem, we tried this. It took longer to get the tools to replace the sensor than it did to actually replace the sensor. Worked great and has been working just fine for months.
