Great compact preamp
I don’t use an amp, so this was a great upgrade to getting a random di from the church. I don’t notice any major sound upgrade/change, unless I manipulate the tone controls. So to me it is mostly a high quality di.

This thing is awesome. I use this thing live when I go direct with my bass. My wireless goes in one side and the XLR connection goes out the other side. The controls allow you to adjust input and output levels and you also can adjust your volume without telling the sound man to turn you up. Awesome!!
