I have 2012 buick regal premium turbo. it has hid xenon light. is this the right part number?

Do these work for taillights as well? I bought two for my e60 bmw headlights and I’m wondering if I need to get two more for the rear lights.

You only need these for HID Xenon gas bulbs. If your taillights are LED or filament type then a ballast is not needed.

No Lights

After installing the new product in my vehicle, it only worked for a few minutes to light up the headlight. It never came back on, even though the fuses were new, and the headlight was new, also. The price is super low in comparison to the auto parts stores and dealership prices of around $240.00 for the same part. It seems that it is the wrong part in reality.

Needed a little modification

Purchased for a 2010 Escalade and should have been a direct match. Well first the pins in the connector were all bent out of alignment and I had to very carefully bend them all into the correct orientation. Then on the cadillac it only actually uses 2 out of the four mounting holes, whether it was the tolerances being a little loose from the factory or what, one hole was off by maybe an 1/16th of an inch and had to be drilled down a little to mount. However, once all was done, the part worked as it should.
