Formerly MR-97. ZYP Boron Nitride Mold Release is an industrial strength spray release for ceramic and stainless steel molds. It is easy to use, covers completely, and produces castings with beautiful, spur free surfaces and edges. ZYP is the only Boron Nitride aerosol rated for higher fusing temperatures (up to1800 f); however, it is best suited for shallow castings and slumping. IMPORTANT NOTE: If using ZYP with ceramic molds, the surface of the mold will become slick & no longer easily accept coatings of traditional mold primer after ZYP has been applied. Review: Great product - Work well with fusing glass mold Review: Great for using on molds used for slumping glass - easy to use

Great stuff, better than spray bottle kind
Easy to spray on, nice finish, and glass doesn't stick. I used the spray bottle kind before and I found the sprayer got clogged, despite thoroughly cleaning it between uses. Also, the aerosol can gives a thinner, more even coat without drips.

Expensive but worth it.
Great product. I have hesitated in past due to cost but I love it. So much easier to use with fused glass than kiln wash on molds including stainless steel molds. Dries quick. Glass releases well after firing. Glass has smooth texture.
