Searchlight Atom satin silver single ceiling pendant light (6066)

The Searchlight Atom satin silver single ceiling pendant light (6066) works well and looks good. I did need to redrill the fixing holes to the match conduit box in ceiling but this was a minor issue. Although I was initially concerned about the ceiling rose component of the fitting since the supplier doesn't provide an image I bought it anyway. In fact I was not disappointed - it looks good as can be seen in the images I've provided below.

We bought this 25cm size for the hall and a matching 30cm size for the landing (as that hangs above the stairs and we can't walk into it).We wanted something that was stylish but did not intrude into the decor; and also a fitting that gives off useful light. This fitting does those jobs well. Well packed. Straightforward installation - just read the instructions. If you're not used to changing electrics then take a photo of the existing wiring in the old ceiling rose so you can copy it (or draw a diagram). Two pairs of hands useful when putting the glass shade in place as the securing screw is (in my view) more fiddly than it needs to be. Check the glass shade has no bits of fluff or packing material inside - they look terrible when the light is on and you have to repeat the fitting. I got the second one up quicker than the first...Overll - good product.

I bought this to replace a paper lantern. It gives an equally good light, but looks less studenty. I particularly like the metal rose and bit above the glass globe - they look classy. A tiny allen key is provided to remove the globe to fit a light bulb.I was disconcerted to see on the bulb socket a sticker telling me to use a 60 watt bulb. I checked with the seller, and was told the fitting had been tested for 100 watts, which is what I have now fitted. It works fine.

Wanted old-style school light fittings but couldn't afford them. This was an acceptable alternative and provides the look and level of light that I needed. This supplier was also far cheaper than others I checked.

Be careful when fitting shade,can be a bit tricky but looks good when installed

Oh so cheap. Not as shown, a very thin pendant with a grey cheap cable. Bought the other larger light that was even more inferior. Stick with the Rondo, disappointed after all the good reviews. Another time waster will be going straight back to Amazon.

A very classy shade, good value and well packed for delivery.

With a standard (clear) bulb it looks cheap. Looks great with a frosted bulb.

Bellissimo lampadario, per chi ama le cose poco appariscenti e/o esagerate. Ne ho presi 2 per lo stesso ambiente, montati rendono ancora di più rispetto alla foto, e danno un tocco di delicata eleganza.
