2 Pack Multi-function 6 in 1 Fork Spoon Opener and Knife Combination for Hiking, Survival, and Camping

I was looking for a more compact silverware option, which I could place inside my mess kit. This item is perfect for that. Folded up, this is about the same size as your average pocketknife. The design is very efficient and clever, enabling you to separate the fork and spoon. The stainless steel and brass construction is heavy, but durable, and is corrosion resistant. Everything unfolds and goes back together easily and securely. The only downsides to this purchase are that you are buying two, when you probably only need one. I have an extra, which I will probably never use. Also for backpacking, these are quite heavy, so you may want to consider a plastic flatware option instead.

Most of the time that I read 'heavier than expected', the weight of the item listed in the description has not been observed. I look at this closely. I was hoping to carry this in my go bag and overnight hiking bag. The quality is exceptional and most suited for car camping. I appreciate the design features. I would recommend this overall but would hesitate for longer range foot travel.

These are just what I wanted. They aren't the smallest utensils, but they are the lightest. The bag works well to contain the set and it slides easily into my pack. The size of the set is just right and the chop sticks make grabbing hot stuff and grabbing food from a container easy. The titanium locking ring is also a nice touch with a hex shape. No complaints at all.

Great idea, good price, but a little flimsy particularly in the fork area.

Get rusted easily

Two pieces knife/spoon and fork comes apart when open locks into one piece when closed.Might not work if you eat with left hand the way the spoon fork open would probably close on you.It's cheap but does the job, in no way would I consider this a backup field knife but it will cut your food.

I like that the spoon and fork can be separated. I had purchased a similar set for my overnight bag. I got this one for my bug out bag. The first set came with a nice case. This set didn't.

Very nice, the knife is on the spoon half so you can use the fork and the knife while eating. The can opener isn't the best, it isn't very sharp and doesn't have much of a point. The cork screw tip is angled into the handle so you don't poke yourself holding it. Not the easiest to clean if you're a messy eater or use the fork to move splattering fat food around a pan, but a cloth and stick or q-tip can clean up the grooves where the tools sit pretty decently
