Handy Dandy Product
Purchased to help my mother-in-law hold her spoon following a stroke. Without it, she would have not been able to feed herself which was very important to her. Highly recommended and worth the price. Will soak clean in dish water if it gets food on it. Closing the Velcro after each use will help keep it clean and working properly.

Cheap Knock Off
Don't waste your money on this cheap knock off of a normally great daily living aid. The material is cheap and the workmanship is horrible. The seams are so close in the sleeve that you can't even get a regular fork or spoon in without forcing it and possibly, as in my case, splitting the seams. If you can't get a utensil in it then that makes it pretty much useless. It comes packaged with a very small plastic spoon inserted in the sleeve to give it the appearance of utility. Some people rely on this type cuff as their only means of holding an eating utensil, pencil, toothbrush, etc. I would not be able to sleep nights if I knew I were ripping off people with disabilities. I hope this seller Has the decency to pull these items and reevaluate them.

Helps Grandmother eat peanuts
My 92 year old mother loves this "eating-helper" and would like another one for her purse. She has fun telling the grandchildren that she can pick up peanuts with the spoon which her tender, arthritic hands cannot do.

Great concept!
This cuff was purchase for my mother who has arthritis flare ups that make it difficult for her to hold her silverware sometimes. My mother has dainty hands but this will barely fit over her fingers. So when the flare ups occur, I am not sure if it will fit. We did play around with it some checking it out on my hand which is some what larger that my mothers and I think with some modifications we can make it work. I don't believe this item will work very well for individuals with large hands. We will be keeping it and playing around with it to see how we can make it work for her as this was one of the least expensive options and the cuff concept, I think, will be better suited for Mom when her flare ups hit.
