I was skeptical when they came, it did not look like it would compress much. But we put three collared dress shirts and two pair of khakis into the medium with no problem. I am sure we could have fit more if we wanted too. The stretch material at the top really expanded well and held everything in place. My son was surprised by how few wrinkles there were when he unpacked. Definitely traveled better than if just packed in the suitcase.We intend to order at least one more set for the family. The only downside is that the smallest one is really small. We experimented and found it worked well with undergarments and socks, but usually I am not that concerned about compressing or keeping those unwrinkled.
