Must have
If you are a car enthusiasts and like to keep your paint looking it's best, then you need this system. It was recommended to me by a professional and it has been worth every penny. With absolutely no experience, I used this system on 3 different vehicles this summer and had amazing results. The product does not dry out nearly as fast as others do during the process which is half of the battle. It is very forgiven and easy to work with. My first time using it was on black paint, which can visually show mistakes. I had no issues even with no experience. Take your time, do it right with these products and you will not be disappointed. It brings back the depth in the color, brightens faded paint and removes swirling. I will always have this on hand.

Worked great on a neglected 2015 Dodge Charger Dark Metallic Blue
Used this kit with a Porter Cable 7424XP. My current job gave me a low mileage 2015 Dodge charger in Dark Metallic Blue to use as my daily work car. Unfortunately, this car was used as a loaner vehicle when other cars in the fleet needed service. That meant it rarely was washed and would sit on the roof of a parking garage for months at a time. The paint itself had tons of etched in waterspots and microscratches from being run through unmaintained auto carwashes.I used this kit along with Chemical Guys medium clay to first prep the surface and remove some of the contaminants. The compound went on easy with my DA set at 5 and came off easy with chemical guys microfiber towels. I made three passes in ft squares on each panel, which took a very long time. I then followed with the included polish wax that was included. All in all, I spent 6 to 8 hours working over three days as I had free time. All the water spots came out without issue and the paint is as slick as can be. A lot of compliments from people that see the car. After the first wash, I used the Meguires Hybrid Ceramic Spray wax which made the paint pop even more. Kit is good for the price and the apron actually helped keep my clothes from getting ruined by the wax when applying it.

Outstanding Product, Excellent Results
Bought a new 2015 Ford Fusion in Tuxedo Black that had been sitting in a Southern California dealer lot for 4 years. The paint had lots of embedded contaminants, some hazing, and plenty of scratches of various depth from being washed with dirty towels or whatever. The car didn't look bad from 10 feet away -- but didn't look good up close in direct sunlight.Did plenty of research into various polishes and tools before buying this product. I like that it had a well made backing plate plus pads, polish, and wax. Spent 8.5 hours washing the car then drying it. Clay barred the surface with the Meguiar's Clay Bar kit. Then polished and waxed with this kit. Took my time and used an inexpensive DA I got on eBay for $57.I am amazed at how well this turned out. The car looks like it just left the factory. Haze is gone. All scratches gone. Very easy to use. Just time intensive to do the job right. I couldn't be happier.Forget all of the crazy expensive pads, backing plates, and creams. This is all you need.

Just starting out and dont know what direction this kit will help you
The top of my 09 black Passat looked like the clear coat failing but the rest of the car shined and was a victim of many carwashes. swirls all over the place and one big blemish on the passenger side door from some paint I tried to get off a year or so ago.Faced with a big bill I decided to get a porter cable buffer and fix it myself.I used Meguiars wax for a long time so when I read and watched the YouTube on the Meguiars microfiber correction process using the porter cable buffer I was sold and went to Amazon to search for the products and found a good price on the whole Meguiars system including pads , polish and wax and last but not least a backing pad for the porter cable which I would have to buy anyway. So it was a great deal for me.I followed the directions and washed the car first and then used the pink polish just like the Meguiars video said i could see it working right away. The trunk lid came back to black, the swirls started to disappear and that blemish on the passenger side door was gone.plus you hear about the smell and its true it was a pleasent smell. I then started the finish waxing on the car and it made it look beatiful and smelled like blueberries muffins which my wife appreciated she has always hated the smell of some of the products I have used around the house but this one she actually liked which was good becasue the laundry room is in the garage.all went on easy and wipeing it off was just as easy as you see on the video. I did end of doing the trunk lid twice but that was to really get it looking perfect.I also did my wifes mercury sable in red and it came out real nice as well but the one thing her car has always had are water spots but the ones you only see at certain light angles. I was hoping to make some headway on them but they were not corrected very much and I really tried in a few areas on the hood but to no avail. but they have been there for a long time and I tried getting them out years ago using cleaner wax to no avail so I am not even gigging them for a problem that might not even be able to be corrected. Car still looks good and I am the only one that sees the spots.\All in all I did my vw twice the whole system and my wife's car once. I still have enough product to do one maybe two more cars. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone who is like me just getting into detailing or to someone who just wants to save money like me instead paying someone else to do it. You will not be disappointed you did and you will also learn how to use your equipment after doing a few and getting success. One last thing, all the videos say to go slowly and that's true also marking the backing pad with black felt tip was another real good tip.Hope this helped somebody, If your like me your studying and overanalyzing you'll be happy with this product.

No more fine scratches
I used this in conjunction with the dual action rotary tool, also from Meguiars. It removed oxidation from my boat tower and fine scratches from my car and truck hoods. Prior to purchasing this kit, I had never used a rotary. Amazing results, highly recommend. Just follow the simple instructions and you will be pleased.

Polish is no good
The DA correction compound worked really well, the polish however, was sort of clumpy and left behind a haze.
