I bought this because the front piece on the bottom of mine broke off. I saved the roller from the original just in case i want to put it in this one. It's very close to the original except for the added hair removal vanes and a clear comb inside. It works well but is a bit noisier than the original, probably because of that comb. It does have some trouble with rugs. You have to release and pull the trigger every so often bc it stops spinning. However, I had this problem with the original at first too and eventually it lessened, so hopefully it happens with this one as well. Although, it may be a sign that it is really digging in, which is a good thing, so I wouldn't count it against this product.

Dyson wanted to charge me an exorbitant amount to replace my vacuum head. I took a chance and ordered this and I'm so glad I did. It works great and terrific value for the money.

Fits and snaps in great! have noticed that the sound of the motor head is a little quieter, but I suspect that it is due to the extra anti-tangle fins inside the casing. It also has seemed to slow down the vacuum and reducing suction over carpet. But, aside from that, works well, just not like factory for sure.

The head worked ok for a few months and then jammed, and the brush will not turn. I can find no way to get it returned or repaired. All that seems to be available is self-troubleshooting that does not address the problem. If I can find a source for repair or replacement I will post an update.

This fit perfectly. Functions same as the original. Makes my Dyson V10 work like it is brand new again.
